    Why? Hiring Mcleash is reason enough not to trust Lerner. I'm not sure he realises how poor our squad actually is. Disagree entirely - Lerner has done a massive amount for the club, he **** up by hiring McLeish but people make mistakes. I'm not going to hold some sort of pathetic grudge - he sacked him, he's gone, he's hired Lambert and now we're moving on. I suggest you do too. It's not all about Mcleish. Wait till Lerner is back to selling our best and not replacing.

    I think he only had 4 assists last season. He started something like 19 games. So really he isn't providing "assist after assist".

    Ian Abrahams **** hell. He's been caught out by twice in the last few months. First was Everton with Moyes. He said Moyes had been given permission to talk to Tottenham. Everton's Chairman even tweeted him and said it wasn't true. Next was West Brom, he said one of their players was leaving and the official WBA twitter tweeted him and said it wasn't true.

    Southampton have to be proud of that performance. Went away to Man City and made them work for the 3 points. They lost, but they didn't let Man City walk over them. These are the sort of games i want to see from the Villa. No matter what team, give it a **** go.

    Writing youth players of before they have even had a chance, only on VT Shouldn't they go out on load first and see how they do? Thinking you can just put in him the squad with just a few first team games (5-6?) and think he will do better than what we already have is silly thinking.

    Need to stop thinking youth players that are not ready are going to do a job. Realized he was injured anyway.. But what other choice do we have?? Rely on CNZ? Tell me what Carruthers has done that makes you think he's going to turn our problems around? Yes, he might be decent at youth level, but he is no where near good enough for the first team. This is the mistake we have been making for the last few years. Trying to get by with not good enough youth players.
