    Great shout. Much rather sign someone like him on the cheap who potentially could really help us out then an aging Bednarek who is prone for errors constantly.

    How much would Bednarek go for? Surely why not take a punt on someone like Jakub Kiwior - young polish centerback. Was linked to Roma and West Ham?

    Much rather sign Lyanco from them. You can't go wrong with a half Brazilian half Serbian CB.

    For a second I thought they were referring to him playing left back "LB". Its been a long day - but it got me thinking, I wonder if he would be a better wingback then winger

    Cheikh Niasse is an interesting player - a defensive mid that could play alongside Kamara or alone. Could also play CB if need be in emergency situations. Only 22 and adds some steel/athleticism in the midfield. I'm not saying he should be a priority cause he's a young talent but I think these are cheeky signings we need to buy before they turn into 30-40m players.

    GP or Poch? Personally I'd take GP as I think he would be here for the long haul and Poch if he succeeded would use us to leave to a bigger club.

    Sheffield United have 3 players that I like to keep an eye on: Iliman Ndiaye - highly talented player, can play a multitude of positions and equally be a threat Anel Ahmedhodžić - athletic CB with great technical ability. Sander Berge - need to see more, but I wouldn't be opposed to bring someone like him in.

    I agree. I think he's one of very few genuine "genius" minds in footy. He's a masterclass tactician and players love to play for him - whats not to like? Can do it on a shoe string budget, back him with proper funds and I think he really could push toward the top. I think theres a stereotypical cause he's English he isn't a top tier "elite" manager, but I truly think he has it in him. Down the line he should be Englands manager - but only after he's secured us Europe and a few trophies to go along with it. . Hypothetically thinking - but I'll continue to hope Gerrard gets it right and we look more stable in the mean time.

    I'm going to back Gerrard as long as he's here and will never wish for us to lose - but a part of me would love to see what Graham Potter could do with a backing of our owners.

    This Anel Ahmedhodzic for Sheffield looks like a nice player. Moves really well for a 6'3/4 CB and has great technical ability. They recently signed him so I doubt we could now but for 10m or so - not a bad player to keep an eye out for.

    We might as well just splash the cash on Maxence Lacroix. We need another big time CB anyways, especially if Gerrard and co were actually looking to get rid of Mings from the beginning. Mings has to stay now so just spend the money and bring in a top notch CB. Personally wouldn't also be opposed to loan someone like Nat Phillips from Liverpool on a cheap. He's starting tonight for Liverpool against Palace. Lets scout him now

    If Watkins were to actually be sold - what are the chances to get Ivan Toney? I think the latter is class. I'd throw serious money and I bet we can offer double the wages Brentford pay him.

    Watching this Frankfurt team now - Oliver Glasner. Teams are always set up with shape and discipline. They work hard for each other and they're fairly attractive on the eye in regards to the style of play.
