    I would have Thomas Frank if neither Emery, Poch, or Tuchel aren't available for us. We could do a lot worse... I'd certainly have Frank over Rodgers.

    I'm bored of the same names being thrown about so let me throw another name into the fold for fun... Hansi Flick We have an interim coach until after the World Cup - he has expressed he would always go back to club footy. Germany bows out and he decides he wants back in to club like Villa who can provide him funds, but overall still wanting to show he's a top tier manager, and what better league to prove it in - The Prem. Ok before everyone goes crazy on me - I'm only having fun lol.

    He was at Espanyol and Southampton before he really made his break thru with Spurs tho. I think thats much different than River Plate. Don't get me wrong - I like the shout. Just don't think its the right time where we are currently standing to make that gamble.

    The conspiracy theorist in me is that Poch is waiting for Conte to leave to Juventus and he takes over at the end of the season, or January maybe if/when Spurs/Juventus get knocked out of the UCL.

    The more and more times I think about who we should hire next that's realistic - I keep falling back to Unai Emery. I really think he would get us in Europe and compete.

    I'd take a risk on him - but if he wants to leave because he's simply being criticized too "harshly" then idk if the Prem is the league for him... Can we just stump up the cash for Mykhaylo Mudryk!

    Even if we sold him and they offered Ox on a free - I'd still stay well clear of him. He's well past his best and another player who spends his time in the training room.

    @messi11I must say - Matthew O'Riley from Celtic looked a GOOD player! Wouldn't be opposed to someone like him running around in front of Luiz/Kamara.
