    Being reported in a French sporting newspaper that we're interested in buying Rhian Brewster from Sheffield United, as long as they can recoup most of what they paid Liverpool. Evidently, Liverpool have a buy back clause written into contract until 2023. This might prove a stumbling block.

    Ok, I love Villa, and have for 55 years, but clearly I'm missing something.

    Its all down to opinions, but if our recruitment team thinks he's good enough and has potential, then I'll back them. He looks a good player on Youtube, albeit very selective, and comes across as an intelligent young man. Jack has only been really world class in the last year or so.

    Good to see majority of players complete a full game. Steer looked more solid than previous games. Ashley very involved and classy. Jadon Phillogene-Bidace confident, full of potential. Just needs to sharpen up on final decision making.

    most of the team will have to play for the full 90 minutes. Only 3 subs. The others playing against Crewe, including Buendia. All seems a bit bizarre.

    I'm sure it's been picked up on here, but worth a reminder. Early in the euros, Jack was asked by an It Italian journalist about similarities between him and Francesco Totti. He said that Totti played for one club throughout his career.Positive...Hopefully, he still sees things this way.

    My first proper post !!! I see Will Hughes has refused a new contract at Watford and is training with their Under 23s. I think he might have lost his way of late, but was a real talent when he burst on the scene 8 or 9 years ago. Still only 26 and managed/ coached by Craig Shakespeare, when latter was at Watford. Picked up rumours on here we might be interested.

    I'm a season ticket holder and have supported Villa since 1967. Saw my first game in the season when they got relegated. Colin Withers was my hero. As we all know, Villa has its' ups and downs and I've seen many, but pretty positive at moment. Jack Grealish is the best player I've seen at Villa Park. I hope he stays. I've been accessing Villatalk for a while, but haven't got round to joining. Speak pretty good French, so can help translate some links to French players. Looking forward to this season.
