Yes yes I am, but I'm working a normal school whereby the kids are either sleeping or drawing pictures of naked ladies. Although, saying that....I could introduce word removed when they barrage me with footballers names. It gets tedious at times: 'Teacher, teacher, Almeida! You like?' 'No, complete word removed'

I've used word removed lots of times. Always to the confusion of those around me. I went through a period doing the whole 'blah blah is blah' and almost got smacked. I checked myself before I wrecked myself.

3 new signings for Besiktas: Manual Fernandes (loan) from Valencia. Simao from Atletico Madrid Hugo Almeida from Werder Bremen. The last one is suprising as he's gone for €2 Million. I mean, a 26 year old AM also a very very good player and he goes for €2 Million! He must be on a fair weekly wage.

My Russian friend suggests that the Russian police are anything but fair. His family had to bribe them to stop when they drunkenly walked into their newly built house and started to break the windows. Luckily they 'knew' local politician and they were given brand new windows....and the Policemen were moved to a different part of Russia.

I've been out of Brum for 6 months and discovered the dialect has evolved dramatically in that time. I've just come back from a 7 day Christmas sojourn and was amazed at the little things that annoyed me about something I would have happily defended 6 months ago. Examples: 'Oi'm hungry, Oi am.' ( I am hungry I am) - Why the need for the extra 'I am'? It sounds wrong. I overheard some kids in the Bullring: 'I walked round the corner loike, and they 'ad loike a Police Station there' Either it was a Police Station or it wasn't! And the final one that really got/gets me is, when you talk to somebody you've never seen before. You ask them what they do for a living: 'Oi'm a plumber, en oi' ( I am a plumber, aren't I) I dont know! It's not a fancy dress party! You're not dressed like Mario! There you go.

My Mum just text me: 'Finished now, on the bus. Knife pulled. Am OK x
