  1. To be fair, I was 16 years old. And he did look good in that game. I've learnt my lesson, safe to say.
  2. Milan Baros. Scored the winner 10 mins into his debut against Blackburn, I was right behind the goal. Remember coming away from the game super excited. God, he almost instantly went to the dogs after that game.
  3. Perhaps the biggest overreaction from a "manager" to a bottle kick in football history. Such a massive shame if he goes. Gerrard's a mountain sized cock.
  4. I genuinely believe that some fans think this is the case.
  5. Our sweet prince hath donned his travelling garments and made haste for yonder Montpellier sire.
  6. 6 goals in 8 PL games worth of minutes. Only Haaland, Mitrovic, Toney and Kane have a better ratio. Lets not be hasty in getting rid eh?
  7. Eh???? In what way is that side not solid as a rock? He even has a CB at RB to add extra Gareth Southgate levels of security when in/out of possession.
  8. Fairly sure I saw him do a set in Ibiza last season.
  9. Seems to be gathering some momentum this. Definitely the right player profile we should be looking at.
  10. We'd be absolutely mad to sell Ings unless a Chelsea Cucurella level of stupid offer came in.
  11. Peak trolling from my boy Mark, great work.
  12. Would be very surprised if Guendouzi was on Emery's list of players given the history of him being dropped from the 1st team squad at Arsenal for disciplinary reasons under him.
  13. Disagree, teams can go on miracle runs - Newcastle went berserk at the end of last season after a pretty rocky start under Howe. It's all a matter of how quickly Emery can instil his magic on the side. Might take 5 games, might take 50.
  14. Nothing to do with our recruitment team. The problem is the turnover of managers. Gerrard wanted Digne who now doesn't fit Emery's system. Chelsea and Man Utd have been doing the same thing for years and years and years. Manager signs preferred player for their system, manager gets sacked, manager changes, system changes, new manager requires new players to fit new system. Repeat. I think we can all agree that Emery is the first coach we've had in over a decade who truly deserves a chance at bringing in his own players to suit his system though.
  15. Everton are definitely the most extreme example of gross squad mismanagement over an extended period of 6 or 7 years. I don't think its unfair to single them out at all. The amount of money they have pissed up the wall has been utterly, utterly eyewatering. The quality of their squad considering the money they have spent is proportionally terrible. I realise you're a fan, sorry I'm not having a personal go. But they are in the bin at the moment.
  16. No offer has been reported, this just seems like Twitter guff. Shame, as I think this would be a quality opportunity to do a Brighton and sell a player above his market value only to reinvest a fraction of the money on a player that suits the Emery system.
  17. I can't see him being played on Friday against Leeds even if available. Emery won't be able to get his ideas across in time surely.
  18. We're attaching the bid to the rocket that's launching from Cornwall tonight. It will get there dreckly (it won't get there).
  19. I'm no guru when it comes to FFP, but the fact that Chelsea's revenue is currently 3 times Aston Villa's might help.
  20. 9.5? I've seen anything ranging from £14 to £20m in the media. Where are you getting that from?
