  2. we’ve had 2 years of seeing his lack of skills
  3. I can see why this deal took so long to complete. All the waiting was for Trez to complete his signature
  4. Hopefully a lot less angry reacts on Facebook
  5. Who’s the agents? Maybe we can work out who are the targets from their rosters
  6. And probably the exact reason why Carney hasn’t signed his extension yet
  7. Has he change his Instagram from Savilla to Aston Villa yet? Just looked and he hasn’t
  8. Break your promise and we break your Kit Kat
  9. It’s feels dirty that we have one of our Players in “Other football” next to SHA and Grealish Threads
  10. I think this one has been pretty clear for some weeks now. I’m some what not bothered if we lose either, yet simultaneously I’m keen too see how Doug would fair in a double pivot with Boubs morgs, just hasn’t worked out with Villa, it’s time for him to try his craft else where
  11. Ok, so my tweet about Wesley going to Leeds has made their top page on Twitter…. So I guess
  12. I really should design a new crest, considering it’s my job. but can’t be arsed… I’ll start and do the whole bleeding branding, just to be a completionist and I’d rather do (need to do) my paid work instead here’s my bullet points with what I’d start designing with shild>circle. The circle badge has been done to death in football. Let Chelsea and Millwall have the lion in the circle. Also the circle badge is just nostalgia bait Aston Villa Football Club > AVFC. the crest needs the full title but in a type face that can be used as the standalone words or the initials. For any other branding purposes. Current lion> Older lions. the current one works well as a flat design and with detailing. So it can work as a logo icon and for something more formal. traditional design > current design Despite it being a new crest, it still needs to say we are one of the original football clubs in the country, so the design would need to reflect that concept, yet have the ability to be broken down to simpler versions that’s instantly recognisable as a crest, logo, ident and type… no prepared> prepared. This is a tough one for me, but as a motto it never really chimed with me for a reason. I don’t even know why we had it and it what really means, other than the obvious that we are “prepared” Other clubs designs of note. Spur’s and Liverpool’s lack of shield makes their crests appear more like logos. man United, is too busy. Everton, have worked well with there crest, it works in full colour and in monochrome, it looks traditional and they often use the tower/spire as a logo/ident for none shirt branding. Juve, is a soulless logo and reflects nothing of the club, it’s culture and history. Inter’s rebrand gets a nice balance of traditional and modern, so does Norwich, in a different way. some of the worst, Bolton, Cambridge, Fulham, Milton Keynes, Leeds Writing this has given me the cravings to start this…
