End this crap manager experiment and appoint a proper manager like we should have done originally. Steve **** Bruce knew how to get Bent to score goals. This muppet can't do what Bruce , George Burley ,Harry Redknapp , Alan Curbishley , Houllier all seemed to managed. So we just get rid of the most prolific striker we've had in last decade?? Nonsense . get a proper manager in.

    I dont think he helped himself taking Ireland off when we were 2-0 down 2-0 down you might as well go for it - take off a defender if you want to bring on Albrighton . Why take Ireland off ?

    Chelsea game looks like it was a one-off then . You would have thought that result would have galvanised the team but no. Back to the usual garbage. The football was utterly clueless and dire. Gary Megson would be blushing at that tripe

    Before today, it was wins over QPR and Blackburn. They played well today but let's not get carried away that he's a miracle worker. It was observation of how poor we have been rather than how great MON is. Fact is he has won 3 games in 5 matches including one over the best side in the league in Man City today. McLeish has won 5 games ALL season.

    They had something like 70 % possesion against Blackburn. They won the game. Frankly given some of our criminally bad football this season we are in no position to sneer at Sunderland or anyone. Hes nearly won the same ammount of games as McLeish has done all season already!

    Yes Houllier was out of order but he still had some excuse for that turd performance. McLeish has managed to serve up some criminally bad games with no bloody excuse.

    Do ppl not understand we had big injury list when played Liverpool last season. Houllier had a vague excuse for that perfromance. McLeish did not have ANY injuries for Spurs game . The Spurs game was clearly made as ridiculously woeful as it was directly by managers incompetent FIRST CHOICE team selection.

    Some of the games this season have had me thinking McLeish shouldve been arrested for crimes against football. Yesterday was first game he actually tactically outdid another manager . Was good game , good performance and well deserved result. But doesnt magically make anyone forget the diabolical stuff served up at times.

    We had massive injury list when we played Liverpool last season. McLeish had NO such excuse for playing Heskey and Hutton in midfield against Spurs - there was no injuries. He was picking his first choice team!

    He got pretty much everything right today. His best day as manger with us. The Arsenal game was marked improvement as well but today McLeish actually tactically outdid a manager. Lets hope its something he can build from.

    I honestly thought he was never going to make those subs . So he surprised me and got it right. He had the team pretty much bang on in terms of set up and we played very well today and were worthy winners. Whatever Chelsea problems are we played very well. It is the first proper result we have had under McLeish . It has been his best day. Has to keep us playing more like this consistently and he will win over ppl.
