  1. DS bang on the money in his post-match comments. This was like beating West Brom. in the semi-final last year. The final is on Sunday. So pleased we had the sense to keep hold of him.
  2. Nice read in the Independent: https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/aston-villa-vs-arsenal-result-premier-league-five-things-we-learned-jack-grealish-douglas-luiz-a9631311.html?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1595368015
  3. No chance. It's totally in our hands on the final day. Can't quite believe it. We'll all be here.
  4. We're the form team of the bottom 10! *edit* over the last 3 games.
  5. Still in shock. keep looking at the table. I had a dream that we beat Arsenal and lost to West Ham, but still stayed up. Didn't wish to share that earlier.
  6. Genuinely. Manager of the season type stuff, keeping a team in PL with NO strikers! incredible.
  7. Got back from the walk with 2 minutes still to play... SO HAPPY!!
  8. Go 2 - 0 up and I'm cracking open a beer. Concede and I'm cracking up.
  9. Don't care how terrible the game is, we are, they are. Just need 3 points.
  10. Really really don't understand the Samatta decision, but so be it. Feel sick.
  11. Absolutely amazed that Samatta starts again tonight. Oh well.
  12. As just reminded by BBC, could be Grealish's last game at VP today. Very sad that.
  13. I was thinking about this. The irony if we do stay up by a single point! Truly **** over all season by technology, only to be saved by a technological failure.
  14. Come on Pep, bring on the even bigger guns...!
  15. Hmmm, okay. Listening to 5Live, and it was said on there.
  16. Ooh, like this stat: Arsenal have lost away at both the other promoted clubs this season!
  17. There's no way Arsenal will want to go into the cup final on the back of 2 straight defeats...!
  18. Apparently the Watford board, quite arrogantly (or correctly!?), think a point is all they'll need from the last 2 games. So yes, why not play for a point.
  19. Similarly, I only go back to Birmingham for family, friends & Villa, but I disagree it's getting worse. Birmingham is one of the most forward-looking places in the world, and the new infrastructure of the trams and all around the new library etc., the rise of Digbeth as a national (even international) place of interest is really exciting to see.
