  1. There has been a story about Elphick going. I'm no fan, but I can't imagine we'd let him go now. Unless however we really rate this lad? Still seems unlikely though.
  2. All great goal scorers are "lucky". It's that "luck" that you pay the money for. Don't forget Peter Withe had the luckiest shin in Europe
  3. Hopefully not, and that he has made a big difference since coming in. I don't think he would have got involved until he was officially behind his desk otherwise he would have been more resistant to the wholesale changes now. Plus the first thing he did was sack Paddy Reilly, at whose feet the blame probably lies for last summer's "indifferent" transfer window.
  4. He's slagging off our Tony for tweeting info to us fans, something we all love. And also had a pop for referring to Villa as "his" club. Well technically it is, but actions speak louder than words and Dr T has done more to involve us all in our club than any owner in my lifetime. Collymore is a desperate attention seeker with nothing sensible to say. He sat a couple of seats behind me in the upper Holte, earlier this season, can't remember which game but it was under RDM AMD surprise surprise we drew. When we scored I glanced back at Collymore and saw the most fake, "look at me" celebration I've ever seen. It was pathetic and looked like he was an extra in some crap TV drama, directed by some lovey who would rather be at the opera, but thinks footie is jolly splendid for the poor people to watch. Knob!
  5. Surely RHM can sign his contract anytime? All these new arrivals will give the club such a buzz, perhaps he won't want to be on the outside looking in. Unless he and/or his advisors are so far up themselves that they're already looking through electric gate brochures?
  6. We've all been assuming, well I have anyway, that Hogan is Bruce's mystery signing. But what if he's not and we have someone else lined up too?
  7. £2 million plus RMC at 10.55pm
  8. Everyone seems to have forgotten Thor in all the excitement. I'm sure it's just an oversight my Icelandic pal!
  9. Let's just sign them both. We've got LOADS OF MONEY!!!!
  10. Well yes, but the lack of striker might wipe the smile off our faces
  11. The Brentford board seem less than impressed with West Ham. They're saying they turned the lads head, messed them about and then walked away without ever putting in a serious bid. No surprise from that low life, porn peddling bunch of crooks.
  12. Strikers are always expensive especially ones on form and in January. I get your point that for whatever reason there is only so much you can spend, and spending it wisely isn't something we've been particularly good at in the recent past. However the management team we have now are a world away from the management team, if one actually existed, under Lerner and even before him.
  13. I agree Eastie, but we can switch to one if injury/suspension dictates. Just so long as the one isn't Gabriel Agbonlahor!
  14. Plenty of teams play with one up front, especially if they have good goal scoring midfielders, which hopefully we have now signed. RMC sorting his head out would still be a good thing, even if it's just to get a decent price for him in the summer, as he is looking increasingly toxic and almost unsaleable at the moment.
  15. I thought the very same Eastie
  16. Round joined on 1st September. He got rid of Paddy Reilly within a couple of days of arriving.
  17. Ayew looked exciting at times, but with no end product. He scored last night but was slaughtered by their fans after his first match at AFCON. All show no dough I'm afraid.
