I've been to most of the games at home this season but I can't justify paying £20-£30 for this shit anymore.

To be fair he won 2 out of 3 league games, and he has managed all the young players before. Still wouldn't, but it's nothing to find funny.

Holy shit MVG is unbelievable at scoring. Doubles can come with practice, when he adds that to his game he will be unstoppable. This is the first time I've seen him (MVG) for a while and I'm impressed.

I achieved a lifetime dream in the first half today as I managed to punch the ball back into play for Al Habsi That was the best part of the match for me, because everything else was absolutely diabolical. I hate it when our fans boo our players individually but if ever it was deserved it was for Ireland's 'performance' today. It was not even worthy of a pub team. I have no idea how he managed to win fan's POTY last season but my God he was total shite today. I genuinely hope I never see him in a Villa shirt again. There just seems to be nothing positive about this team, we have no wingers and in the centre of midfield we are pitiful. The defence has had it's decent moments this season but the confidence has gone. I have no idea who was marking Gomis for the first goal, but something must be seriously wrong if we lose concentration 2 minutes into a game. Conceding to a free header from a corner 2 minutes into a game is unforgivable. I am still behind Lambert but my patience is wearing thin. By the way, my top 3 worst games I've seen at VP are always with Wigan. 0-2 2006, 0-2 2009, and 0-3 2012. Ironically the only time I have been to the DW was a 2-1 win a couple of years ago.

This was what I posted after two games and if anything my fears have worsened since then. I thought we'd turned a corner against Liverpool but the last 3 games will have knocked the stuffing out of us. And I can't believe I thought KEA looked like a good signing, he is nowhere near PL quality.

This is the worst Villa side in my 23 years of living. Who is to blame? I'd say the yanks mostly, but any side can at least have a go at teams (Bradford v Arsenal) so Lambert has to take some of the blame too. I'm just sick of us having a shite, uninspiring team that sucks the life out of me.

When we appointed Lambert I was optimistic that we would at least try to score goals against any side we come up against, I haven't seen much of an improvement in 90% of the games we have played this season, even the games we've won a lot of the goals were against the run of play.
