  1. I'm married mate. What is this money thing of which you speak?
  2. I'm telling you we've got this. There are 45 minutes left.
  3. I'm calling a 3-1 Villa win. We've got this.
  4. Bringing Traore on to the right wing is hardly going to give Hutton any more cover is it? And yeah Hutton's crosses haven't been great but at least he's giving it a go.
  5. Missing Amavi badly this game. Bacuna is doing well, but he has no left foot.
  6. At least we are CROSSING the ball. Amazing how things actually happen when you do that!
  7. That would be Marvin. So long and thanks for all the fish.
  8. Your post is spot on. People having any confidence in our ability to bounce right back need to look at the shit show we've lived through for the past 5 years.
  9. I'm not really onboard with this get relegated-rebuild theory a few folks are floating around. Getting relegated will be an utter disaster of epic proportions, there simply isn't any scenario I can see that would make getting relegated a good thing.
  10. Wow tell us how you really feel lol. I'll go out on a limb and say that Randy isn't on your Christmas card list this year?
  11. Couldn't agree more. Not only did he inherit a squad that lacks quality in key areas, also add that Chris Waddle taking a key penalty has more confidence than our players right now and your not left with much to work with. While we all hope for a miracle up there with the parting of the Red Sea, it was unrealistic to expect an immediate turn in fortunes, given the situation he inherited.
  12. Be devastated if we went down to be honest. I'm one of the people who still holds out hope we'll perform a miracle that will have bible scholars talking for centuries. All these rebuilding discussions make perfect sense, but I'd rather be doing that from the Premier League and not the championship.
  13. While I agree that our defending is so bad this year that the hungover lads from the Dog and Partridge would probably score at least two past us on a Sunday morning kick about, I must point out that Garde has been without Amavi since Man City and Richards has missed the last two games. He's been unable to select a settled back four. IMO the only major tactical blunder he's made so far, which he himself admitted, was not playing a defensive midfielder against Everton. I've not seen anything else that you would question from a tactical standpoint, it's simply the ability/confidence/execution of the players on the pitch that are letting us down at the moment.
  14. I think staying in the division is what everyone is hoping for, but you'd like to think some long term thinking went into this appointment as well. Garde himself must have realized there was chance of us being relegated before he took the job. If we do go down I personally hope he sticks around. It should be obvious by now that simply changing the manager isn't going to fix the fundamental problems our club has. We've picked our guy for better or worse, so let's give the guy some time.
  15. Until he's had time to get the right type of players for the system he wants to play and then had time to teach those players what he's looking for tactically, I don't think Remi can be judged right now.
  16. While it's great that the Prem is wide open this year and if Leicester go all the way I'm sure the'll be a Disney movie about it, I can't help but feel really pissed off that in the one season where the big four are stumbling we're not up there challenging, but instead languishing at the bottom of the league. My worst season ever as a Villa fan. (I'm 36)
