  1. You don't know that at all. You could quite easily say another manager would have us below 4th. His task is to get us up, I still think we will do it.
  2. It's amazing how quick people's opinions can change. We don't do ourselves any favours by hyping him up so much, he's decent and got potential but half the stuff he does is pointless. He'll dribble past 3 whilst going backwards rather than just pass it back out wide. His shooting is also terrible. Hopefully he gets himself back to what we know he can do because today was absolutely shocking!
  3. Don't understand how we have gone this bad. Cant even complete 5 yard passes at the minute!
  4. Totally agree with you. We should have had a couple, Dawson has been fantastic for them but I imagine we will score a couple this second half.
  5. That record is terrible no matter what excuses you use. He has 34 assists in those 300+ apps so even when you use the excuse about him playing out wide it still shows how useless he was. I don't get how a man who has stolen 60k a week for past 5 years can still have people defend him. Good riddance as far I'm concerned. .
  6. 74 goals in 322 games is an awful record. i cannot wait for him to leave this club, even when he was at his best he was only ever a slightly above average striker who had blistering pace but he was in a fantastic squad which made him look better than he actually was.
  7. I disagree, this job is an extremely tough one. keeping on top of FFP whilst having players like richards and gabby draining over 100k a week between them, on the back of 6 seasons of pure crap. Massive expectations which is usually hard enough on it's own but we also have one of the most fickle fan bases in the country which can make villa park toxic at times. it's the biggest club hes been out but probably his hardest job hes had so no way should he feel grateful and lucky everyday to be here.
  8. I can honestly see where you're coming from, tuesday against QPR was completely inexcusable but today i felt there was a lot of factors and ultimately we were unlucky not to get anything. i can't see any of the teams in play offs beating us over 2 legs and the result against wolves proves we can do it in a big game so no reason we couldn't win at wembley. We do need to stay behind the manager and his team though.
  9. players let him down today. their keeper made some great saves and grabban missed an absolute sitter. defending on the goal absolutely terrible i was pretty baffled at putting all four strikers on as well though! Still confident we will go up.
  10. No it doesn't. you don't like him, i get that but when you defend like this, miss chances like we have and our best players not performing thats not the managers fault.
  11. players have to take a lot of blame for today, absolute terrible performances. still can't believe the defending for the goal. grealish seems to be the only one who looks like hes here to win.
  12. at least we've finally turned up. equaliser before the half would be excellent.
  13. the technique on that shot from grealish was ridiculous
  14. what the f... is going on with our defending, bjarnson again terrible defending...
  15. yeah, came second i think. i wouldn't have called him an experienced championship manager though. part of the reason how we ended up in the relegation zone with him...
  16. leeds change their manager every 5 minutes and that hasn't worked... personally i think we should keep bruce regardless i think he's done a really good job with us, i always thought these next few years would be about stability. both clubs you mentioned both got relegated from this division, sunderland are going down again, it's not an easy division and i feel with someone else in charge who doesn't know the league in and out it would be a lot worse. just look back to where we were with di matteo...
  17. I'm not moaning, just trying to point out we don't need to worry so much at first sign of trouble like a lot of our fans seem to do. Chill out.
  18. so using the logic of a lot of our own fans, Fulhams season is over they've bottled it by not beating QPR at home. won't stand a chance in the play offs because they haven't beaten QPR. what a disaster.
  19. And the clubs that will come down this year will be a lot better than Sunderland and hull who we got last year.
  20. I'm more concerned with the fact that if we don't go up this season we won't for a long time. The clubs that's came down were awful this year bar boro who started bad, next season we will have less money due to ffp and some of the potential sides to come down will be pretty much certs to go back up. We cannot afford another performance like that again this season.
  21. sometimes a goal is needed to wake a team up, hopefully thats the case here. if not this will be a massive opportunity wasted
  22. cardiff haven't turned up yet, we need make something happen here tonight for sure!
