Do you not see how Moreno offers more? He won't just drop Digne, Moreno will be brought back in gradually I'd say. But if you want to be successful, you have to be ruthless (to a certain extent) and play your very best XI.

Moreno has to come in for Digne though, at least in most games/situations.

Determination and vision. He can play in tight areas, but he's not a flair player like Traore for example.

Buendia is quality but I wouldn't class him as a flair player.

Used to yeah, if you looked up smarmy in the dictionary his face would be there. Not just on the field, there were some cringy social media videos going around of him as well. He doesn't get on my nerves as much these days, or maybe I just don't watch him as much as I used to.

I think Pau's quality but there's been a couple of occasions now where he dangles a lazy leg and someone's gone past him easily, Antonio being one, Neto another. Surely being a pro defender he knows he should be standing a player up rather than making it that easy for them. Even if you're not tackling them you're preventing/delaying them getting to the dangerous area.

I just see him as the kinda guy who would want to get as many minutes as possible in his playing career, especially as his early years were blighted by injury. He's commented on that frustration himself as well and said how Konsa had played more games than him despite being younger. But hey, who knows! Hopefully he stays with us and continues to play a big part.

That skill was brilliant but he needs to do that more often. Quite often his attempts to beat a man with skill are poor. He's improving at it though.

They're pro footballers, they can all take an 'exceptional' first touch from time to time, but I'd never explain Ollie's first touch using that word.

No but if he's not starting our most important games he might want to move. I can't see him being content not being an important figure. He's too driven.

Yeah, it's so easy for us as fans to just view players as numbers. When someone moves here from another country they're uprooting their whole life. Yeah I know they're paid very well before someone counters with that, but it can still be very difficult to adjust.

Not sure about this at all. He probably encourages the risky passes and has a well enough structured side to have a good chance of recovering the ball if/when they don't come off. He knew all about what his game's about from Villarreal.

That's a baffling view. His passing creates so many positive situations for us. He not only spots passes that others wouldn't but also executes them. Mings was fine on the ball, Pau is a completely different level though.
