I needed to see this vid to regain some faith in him. I'm as frustrated as anyone, but he does need more time. Once he gets a bit more confidence in his play he could be a very different player. Anyone here who plays themselves will know how much difference confidence can make.

I for one am happy with Smith. We're gonna be second best in a lot of games this season, we have to accept that. But we're still exciting to watch. Remember under Lambert? Getting battered for 90 mins and hoping and praying for a successful counter.

I couldn't see him being that suited to playing up front personally, he's a natural winger. As someone said in another thread, if we're trying someone out of position up front, I'd rather try Trez.

Yeah if he's been told to play out from the back and the midfield aren't showing then it's not gonna end well. Also if you're naturally a ball playing CB it's gonna pain you to just hoof it. That being said we need a change for Leicester. I'd go with Mings and Engels. Konsa was poor last night.
