It is possible we will go down! But unlikely given put current points total. I have thought since the Wigan away match that it could happen if it does it is totally deserved as the results since January indicate nothing but relegation and if we stay up some of the sides that are showing real fight and determination to stay in this division will be gutted.That said this is serious now and I intend to get my arse down to Villa Park on Tuesday and support my club.Heaven knows they need it at the moment....UTV

I have little faith in our team at the moment! There it's been said... But what I will say is I hope McLeish rams some of this negativity down the throats of the so called supporters who spout constant critisium week in week out.He is our manager we are Villa how on earth do you expect anything positive to come from it all? I didn't want McLeish as boss and am far from convinced but while he is boss he and the players will have my support!!

Must say I think there is something in this.While I think he makes a good point, how come when we lost last season it was always the manager at fault? I see this too!MON instilled a beleif and confidence that radiated out of our squad,unfortunately alot of the players seem to think that their abilty to acheive left the club with him! Football is a confidence game and last season i don't think i can remeber seeing a side with so much talent have so little confidence in their own ability. Alex looks like he is a strong character who will eventually undo all the negativity that the last two years expierences have sown into our squad. As for the question will we compete at the same level again? I find that hard to beleive as the main players in MON squad are now winning games for the top four teams and not us!

I have no idea what kind of football was played by McLeish at Bloose!I am sure the majority of Villa fans are in the same boot too.Why? Because i paid little or no attention to their style of play just the result(which always cheered me up when they lost).I support Villa and if Mcleish is boss and he play a negative style of football i will judge this on his results...... Not on anything else. Football is a game of tactics where if you choose right you are sucessful.Football snobs at many clubs say they would rather lose 4-3 than win one nil. Not sure about this! Not sure about McLeish either because i know too little about him to judge him.I will reserve judgement until he has had a pre-season with our squad and his new signings. If we are sh@t then i will say say so then not now when he hasn't even been appointed.What ever happened to people's patience how many of you are football profesionals? You wouldn't hire a plumber and then tell him how to fit you're bath.But if he dis a sh@t job you would sure tell him afterwards!

I suport VILLA not the players,Manager,Chairman,Coaches or ballboys! They all come and go.I watched as Turner,McNeil,Venglos,GT Mark 2 and O'leary were appointed.I didn't agree with any of them getting the job.But still i followed and suported them, argued at school and work to defend them. I wanted Yorke to stay and Milner and Barry and Young.But they went cause thats what players do they come and go and still i suported their replacements. Why because Aston Villa is MY club! The staff will be around for a while and they will delight and disapoint in equal measure like they always have done. Randy will make more mistakes i'm sure (i'm just hoping he doesn't sell us to some dodgy Thia business man TBH)what can i do? I can carry on suporting the club that has been a part of my life for 34 years because they are Villa and they are MY team. So if Alex McLeish gets the job he gets the job.....so what? There will most likely be another one in his place in three years time.So while he is here he will get my support as the manager of MY team!

I for one will not see the media in the same light in future. Never again will i sit there smugly while they rip West Ham apart on Talk Sport..... Or when Sky Sports talk of "crisis club Newcastle Our club has been ripped into on a daily basis for simply trying to be discreit about our dealings, some of shite talked by the clueless hacks is i admit getting to me. Has anybody heard Talk sport? They are saying that the undersoil heating at the DW Stadium has broken and there will have to be a pitch inspection at 8:30 tomorrow! Looks grim

It has to be Ashley Young, some top quality performances this year.Although he has been run close by Gabby and a host of others, special mention for the performances of Luke Young since he joined us too. Fast becoming Villas Mr Reliable!
