  1. I’m pretty sure ‘Martin’ is a real name, other than that it’s nonsense.
  2. oh it totally does make sense, sorry if my response sound sarcastic, I didn’t mean it to.
  3. I know we’ve briefly discussed this… but does anyone have a clue why Frimpong is in a Villa shirt?
  4. So excited! 90 mins away from a semifinal. 🩵
  5. It depends on what exactly is happening, if it’s classed as ‘development’. Moving seats around to significantly increase the capacity could be development, but using currently used parts slightly differently and with a different layout might not be. If any new built works are taking place then yeah that would be development too.
  6. Yeah red facing brick could play a part, unless we go for a super modern look with modern materials. Modern materials can look great, and traditional materials looks great, but modern design doing a poor pastiche of old design with a clumsy mix of new and old is rarely good imo. (There are some lovely exceptions to the rule though of course)
  7. With some innovative design, huge ground works and a lot of steel and concrete, we could use the existing site to make a 60000 seater I’m sure (if that’s the figure we’re aiming for).
  8. I think Cash was on the bench for Arsenal, and so was Lenglet. I would expect Lenglet to feature and possibly Pau to be benched?
  9. So we won’t be a Zhegrova’s witness
  10. There is a couple of periods of consultation, and depending on the responses a public inquiry, so about 12-18 months. I have to say working in that field that there has to be fairly exceptional circumstances for a council to CPO land.
  11. To be fair most of this will be sorted once they move from St Andrews to the new stadium
  12. Yeah they did dig out and lower the pitch level in Camp Nou, to fit more seating in. I don’t think we have as much space around the pitch as they did though. But if we did I bet we could at 8-9000 by doing that:
  13. I feel like next year will be tougher, with Chelsea getting back on form, Liverpool likely challenging for the lower CL/Europa places post Klopp, and possible Newcastle resurgence if they can spend this summer. Plus teams like Luton and Sheff will be replaced by, in all likelihood, stronger teams. This season has been incredible, loved it!!
  14. That’s what I was thinking, we can offer much better prospects.
  15. I just did, it’s 10/1 … maybe that’s why they do it!?
  16. Totally agree. Arsenal losing to us yesterday was being talked about along with the Liverpool loss to Palace… like both has slipped up to much lower opposition… I mean you wouldn’t expect either to lose at home, but us winning is hardly a 100/1 long shot!
  17. So Spurs have: Arsenal (h) Chelsea (a) Liverpool (a) Burnley (h) Man City (h) Sheff Utd (a) Very difficult to predict but I would say they’re likely to get a LWLWLW out of that, so probably 9 points… but by no means any certainty about that, just based on what I think is likely. whereas we have: Bournemouth (h) Chelsea (h) Brighton (a) Liverpool (h) Palace (a) With three home games, and going away to Brighton I think we’ll get something like: WDWLW then we’d be on 70pts. But even if we only win our home games then that’ll be enough to be 3 points ahead of Spurs. BUT then even if we only win against Bournemouth and Palace we’d just need to sneak a draw somewhere else (or rely on goal difference).
