  1. Remember when everyone wanted to sign Juan Foyth? Konsa is Emery’s Foyth get used to it …
  2. Drove forward with the ball and attempted some nice through balls created a decent shooting opportunity for him self. I suppose your definition of putting a shift in is running like a headless chicken.
  3. Don’t be so short sited. Had a decent game faded as the game went on but that’s understandable we will develop him and give him game time. It’s easy to jump into the FFP thread and cry about potentially selling key players and then complain when we give low cost youngsters the opportunity to develop and grow. The alternative is buying a experienced ready made signing whilst Rogers & Duran are out on loan eventually forcing us to cash in on players like Luiz , Ramsey ect. Can’t have it both ways it’s clear why we signed him anybody and everyone should be able to understand it won’t come over night. A loan would be totally counterproductive the whole idea is to sign these players and help them grow into a bigger role with Emery’s guidance. Sick of silly posts like this.
  4. Yup there’s a bigger picture these young inexperienced players need to develop we can’t send them on loan and sign an expensive older replacement until they are ready to start regular . Very short sited some on here. West Ham struggled to deal with us early on then we started making mistakes to let them back into the game.
  5. Started brightly then just helped West Ham back into the game
  6. Absolutely there’s a maturity about his game he sees the pass a few steps ahed of the average player has good close control and the physicality to go with it. Taking time to adapt and learn was always going to be the case. I’m genuinely astonished at the amount of people talking negatively about him here would they rather we pay £45m for him later down the line in his career after a Brighton or Brentford develop him for us?
  7. Exactly it’s a case of looking at the potential rather than expecting a finished article it’s easy to see why we signed him.
  8. I’m sure did something a bit naughty off the ball end of the first half , Brobbey was on the floor holding his head and Carlos had a sheepish look on his face
  9. Do we have a choice given the injuries and suspensions?
  10. That game will do him a world of good excellent performance.

    Jhon Durán

Been injured for months looked good. Let’s use some logic when judging his performance young player learning his trade shaking off the rust.
  12. Let’s remember this is Duran’s first game in months
  13. Yes but a 6 in Emery system requires technical ability. Old fashioned for lack of better term destroyer won’t cut it .
  14. Otavio , Inacio , Frimpong from your FM 24 save I’m guessing
  15. Some reports we are interested in Alvaro Vallez Goalkeeper from Las Palmas.
  16. The show in general is a total cringe fest tbh banter is funny when you aren’t constantly looking for it. Carragher came across as an even bigger tool after that comment.
  17. Iroegbunam came off with a cramp against Ajax so it was very unlikely that he’d start again a few days later.
  18. Ummm he’s been building minutes gradually he started mid week and of top of that he’s barley played any football in the last 12 months due to injury so his workload has to be managed. The formation that everyone keeps on blabbing about is the same one we used last season to be Spur at their stadium the only difference was personnel. The idea was to nullify the attacking threat of their fullbacks and hit them on the break which we did in the first half we limited them to a single shot on target and should have capitalised on our opportunities .
  19. It hasn’t come back to bite us though has it? Iroegbunam is building up minutes and improving just because Archer scored against us doesn’t meant it’s bitten us we had to sell to generate and income that’s how football works.

    Unai Emery

He didn’t the plan was to nullify the attacking threat of the Tottenham fullbacks unfortunately it didn’t go our way.
