  1. another shit display, this time against 10 men, **** hell we are shit, no bollocks and no ideas
  2. one of the owrst 45 minutes i have seen in a long time utter **** shit. why pass the ball 20 yards into their half and repeatedly whack it back to our defenders whn there are people moving for the ball? downing has been doing it shit loads recently, luke young also, what a load of **** shit so far. take hogg off, i only know he is playing because i saw his shirt ( he was no where near the **** ball though). ireland has shown some decent passes but **** hell, either he gets himself a pair of **** bollocks or i would let the cnut rot in the reserves. put downing in the middle and albrighton on the right, fonz up front with carew and gabby on the left. we have lost the middle of the park anyway so at least we wont be any worse off. i really do **** dispair at the moment. i wonder if randy actually bothers going at the moment, if he did he could see that things are going shit. we need an enforcer in the middle of the park, i know people are out at the moment but really, things are **** shit and we need proper **** players. **** ireland off, he has had chance after chance, yes i see the odd good pass but so **** what? i bet as sure as shit i could string a few good passes together in a game if all i had to do was **** stand there like a **** slap headed rabbit in a head light im **** annoyed
  3. **** right **** off you shit **** we get the ball work it out wide then **** kick it back to the defence to strat again, **** useless
  4. really, this really is utter **** wank i have seen nothing from hoog or clarke or gabby ireland showed a few glimpses before going absent albrighton has done nothing, this is utter **** wank
  5. why do we play so shit? i know hog and clarke are in the middle but it is **** useless
  6. holy shit performance from at least 2 of the senior players batman oooh looka scape goat ooo who can we blame shut the **** up ireland was wank - end of, no coincidence we held the ball, passed the ball and actually looked like we could score when that lazy morph headed premadonna was taken off. gabby, sorry son, i think you are great but today you were utter dog shit i thought the defence didnt play bad today, a couple dodgy or crap choices but it is 10 times better when we pass the ball out to feat. midfield, we lost it here, they played hoof ball to their forwards, it was down to our midfield to win the second ball, we didnt, not once in the entire game. downing had a great spell but then i counted 7 times he **** up in a row, i dont think more than 1 of the **** ups was under pressure. ash young, again had bright spells but then tries too hard to be the 1 man team. barry banana, had a good game the wee man. we missed the energy of albrighton, we had no one on the left hand side, we were screaming out for someone for **** sake to attack down our left but no one. downing should have switched sides when he started messing up. pires looked far better than ireland, he didnt do great or bad he just tried, that makes his contributions worth more than ireland who thinks by coming depp to get the ball then losing it in even more dangerous positions than normal, it effort? i presume he is going to be dropped again? he should after that performance. i am so so disapointed in him, its obvious he can be a great player but he has done **** all and shown nothing to villa to justify playing in the first team. heard did more when he came on. although only on for 10 minutes, another good little display from fonz. after last weeks pile of shit from him, he put in 10 minutes of clever runs and effort. that is what is expected of him rather than the sulky bollocks he showed last week. out hoofed today, hogg and clarke got bullied out of it, it was a game we needed cuellar or collins, shame they are both still out.
  7. Your opinion - I don't think he played well, but I think shit is harsh. You got this from his ten minute performance? There is absolutely nothing to say that either: He thought he was subbed wrongly. He was sulking about it. He carried that into this game. His attitude was wrong. Personally I think it's wrong to say that he swanned around doing **** all either, he chased plenty, did his defensive bit and was available for the ball. He doesn't have Gabby's workrate, but he didn't shy away from his own work in my opinion. We'd played well, but I don't think there's any evidence that United scored twice because we brought Delfouneso on for ten minutes and he didn't have a great game. Here's where I really disagree with you - at nil-nil we were in a fight with them and pressing for a lead, you could see that the players had developed a confidence that it was possible. At one-nil that confidence had grown and we rode the wave that came from taking the lead into a second goal. At two-nil up with fifteen minutes to go, we found our selves in a potentially winning situation but we went from hunter to hunted; we stopped trying to get things and went to trying to protect things. In doing that we looked very suddenly nervous. Utd are known for scoring late goals and we've recently been conceding them - we went on the defensive and United went onto the attack - that's the game Delfouneso joined, not the one where both teams had something to go for, the one where we were going to try to defend a two goal lead for ten minutes and they were going to try to break us down. Rightfully? If he'd come on and scored a great individual goal then he'd have been rightfully lauded - if he'd come on and made a couple of catastrophic errors then he'd have been rightfully lambasted. He's come on and given a six out of ten performance in a difficult situation for a substitute striker against a good side - he could have done better, a lot better in fact, his awareness of his teammates wasn't great and his ball to Lichaj was poor but he could have done worse - your reaction is quite frankly bizarre to me. Sorry this was such a long reply, but it's been some time since I saw a short paragraph so packed with concentrated wrong. wow, blind? i always wonder why people blindly try and defend things which are indefensible, makes them look more wrong than they normally are. never mind, carry on thinking that he put in a good shift.
  8. Valid points actually those. i just wish he'd "run around more/put himself about more" when he came on, if you get me. For me the difference between him and gabby was very noticeable though, when he came on, in terms of "effort". But then against Blackpool, you could say the opposite in my opinion. Some people's idea of 'working hard' is different though. Me personally, I close down a defender, I'll see that as hard work, other players I've played with have run from side to side, even past me as I wonder over to a full back to chase the ball. I look back and think 'that was lazy' but during the game, It's almost as I think 'I'm not going to get that, there's no point' where some players have some attitude of 'MUST. GET. THERE.' It is definitely something that can adjusted in time if Houllier believes he doesn't work hard enough. i think it was the opinion of most, fonz had been poor at best and then came good and was taken off, wrongly in most peoples view. just like today, he came on and did **** all, again, in a lot of peoples views. so i cant understand some people trying to suggest people are writing him off ( not aimed at you, but i see at least 3 peeps in this thread suggesting it). if he plays average then meh, if he plays well then he gets praise, if he plays shit but makes the effort then its one of those days and people will understand he had a badday at the office if he plays shit and swans around like lady muck doing **** all because he is sulking that the manager wrongly subbed him a few days previous and the result of his bad attitude in this game costs the team who have done **** awesome and battered the shit out of utd and had an easy 2 goal lead and were looking good for another goal and utd had **** all chances, then he gets rightfully lambasted. is he too young to get a handsome pay packet? nope. is he too young to play for the mighty claret and blue in the first team? nope so how the **** can he be too young to be given the truth when it comes to individual performances? or would some people like it if instead of being critical of such a woeful lack of effort or passion or any kind of respect to the rest of the lads, prefer to say " bravo fonz well done, you were right to act like a spoilt brat as the manager dropped a clanger and took you off against blackpool"? it was like watching dwight yorke against everton, thats how bad i saw his display. i think i am so pissed off about his lack of effort because the rest of the team put so much in, only for it to be pissed down the drain by having to play with only 10 players for the last 10 minutes.
  9. thats alright then, everyone... he is 19, it doent matter what he does. no one minds a player having a shitter, it happens, but no effort? no excuses and age? he is 19 not 5, he should be even fiter and have more energy than any of the other players. instead brad friedel would have put more effort into it.
  10. are you for real ? yes i am, thanks for asking are you? i will know if you are or not if you try and say that fonz provided anything other than negativeness today. or if you try and defend his attitude today or if you try and come up with excuses for his shitness today or if you dont think the whole game turned on him coming on and gabby going off I don't think I've ever seen anyone so angry with a player who was on for ten minutes and made one mistake. I think you've got this one a long way wrong. if we had anyone like souness, mcmahon, paul ince or any other nasty bastard in the team, they would have rung his neck for the way he did **** all. the team played well beyond everyones wildest expectations , we were actually hammering utd, not just beting them, we were battering them. then what? if anyone has the stats i would be interested to see how many attempts they had before gabby went off and how many in the 10 minutes afterwards. we defend from the front , we did today and it worked, then we chamnged forwards and there was no effort, no passion, no respect for the players who had played so fantastically for the previous 80 minutes, instead we got a sulky stroppy big headed cock like appearance from one of our rising stars. it was disgraceful and disrespectful to the rest of the team. he was wrongly taken off against blackpool, he was crap for most of the game and then when he found his feat he looked a very good player but was then taken off. he was 'wronged' on that occasion, but instead of putting in his all for the 10 minutes he was on the pitch today, when 2-0 and battering utd, he did slightly less than me and i wasnt there. it was the best 80 minutes i have seen from us in a very long time against top opponents , from the way we kept the ball, passed it, moved, chased down, tackled, competed for every ball. then the introduction of fonz and ...... nothing, no chasing from the forward, no tackling, no tracking back, no attacking threat, no passes to our own players, nothing.
  11. are you for real ? yes i am, thanks for asking are you? i will know if you are or not if you try and say that fonz provided anything other than negativeness today. or if you try and defend his attitude today or if you try and come up with excuses for his shitness today or if you dont think the whole game turned on him coming on and gabby going off
  12. Friedel 6 L Young 7 Warnock 7 Dunne 6 Collins 6 Downing 9 A Young 8 Albrighton 9 Bannan 8 Hogg 6 Agbonlahor 7 ripped them apart countless times, hit the woodwork 2 or 3 times, restricted them to nothing attempts and must have had 65% possession against utd until the 80th minute when...... fonz? 0 cost us the game the lazy bell end, 2-0 and 10 minutes to go, he comes on, stamps his **** feat like a cock and provides literally nothing but encouragement for utd to attack. i know gabby is coming back from injury but what a **** mistake houllier made bringing him on, it changed the entire game, taking someone who was making their defence work and hurrying them into countless unforced errors for someone who strolls ( i say strolls, strolling would imply some sort of movement) around doing **** all and looking like a cry baby because he was wrongly taken off in the previous game when he had started to shine. i would not play him again for a few games even if we have no forward now, it was **** shameful and anyone who trys to defend the shit attitude he came out with will be speaking nothing but bollecks.
  13. i would like to suggest he is NOT an impact sub, WTF? 2-0 up and shitting all over man utd, he comes on, no energy levels what so ever and they start pressing because we are not defending up the park, they score 2 and look like winning, in only 10 bloody minutes. lazy **** clearing in the woods today, summed up by 1 minute to go, we clear the ball from a corner to them, it goes back to 30 yards from their goal, fonz is just out of our area while downing has ran half the length of the pitch to chase the ball down. even warnock was ahead of him in trying to clear the lines. my view is he cost us 2 points today. it changed the entire game.
  14. he was poor tonight, until something happened and he was greatly improved. he scored a scruffy but legal goal then made himself available, timed his run and had a decent first touch for his goal. it seemed to just click and had been a long time coming in the game, but just when he looked like he could pop another goal or 2 in, he was taken off? seems odd to do that really, he gets up to speed and then gets taken off. as i said earlier in the thread, i dont care if a striker does **** all, all game as long as when the chances come, they put them away. he did that tday so good on him.
  15. well we were good in some places and horrid in other places. i have to apologise for some of my slightly colourful language, it was a nail biting last 8 minutes. a.young played well and was back to attacking instead of falling over, albrighton did some great stuff but then forgot he is not messi and instead of pass it on having ran 40 yards he tried too many times to go it alone. fonz did not look good, until something clicked, his movement was then sharper and in 15 minutes, he scored 2 goals and was involved in some good build up play then was taken off? albrigton started sorting out his decision making and got taken off? dunne is either injured or has something bothering him, the defence needs a leader and at the moment it is not him. dunne was great last year but his standards for what ever reasons, have not come up to last years. we missed the drive of NRC and despite me really liking the look of young clark, we looked light weight in the middle against a team who play the ball rather than the player. against a more physical team i fear we could get ripped a new arse hole just like newcastle did to us.
  16. **** right **** off, what the **** mother **** of **** fuckness
  17. this ref is **** shocking, i have seen 2 clear pens and a good goal chalked off for it being us that should benefit from it.
  18. fonz did some good, i was htinking he should stay on for another 5 minutes due to the amount of chances we have just created. nice finish, lets hope he can produce another
  19. wtf? i only got to see the last 15 minutes of that half, i presume we were better in the first 30 minutes? we look soft as shit at the moment no bite in the middle, no one up front. albrighton up front take off fonz stick downing on the left, young on the right ( or vise versa) and get ireland on. blackpool are passing it all around us and we are doing **** all about it. unless fonz did something good in the first 30 minutes, he has done **** all. can someone let me know what he did as i missed the first 30? if he played well and had some efforts on target the keeper had to save then fair enough.
  20. :? Hopefully he will but this was his league debut! i dont understand all this debut talk? he played against spurz 2 years ago in the league and has played in more than a dozen league games so it wasnt his league debut then. he hasnt suddenly appeared on the scene, he has been around the first team squad for 2 years. i also cant understand the theory that because he may be awesome some day, no one is allowed to say he was terrible in a game? should he be judged on what he did or what you think he may one day do? each game is different, fulham i thought he was terrible
  21. i thought he was terrible yesterday. missed 2 reasonably easy headers, was clean through at least 2 times ( well played bannan) and both time he checked back and generally he looked disinterested. i was under the impression he was reasonably speedy? im sure some on here said he was meant to be faster than gabby? i am probably wrong but he looked slower than carew half the time. he is young and so hopefully will get far better, we need a proper goal scorer, i dont give a shit if he swans around most of the game doing **** all as long as when the ball comes to him, he puts the bugger in the back of the net. i know he scored a good amount for the reserves and the youth team so the talent must be there. im hoping for a far better performance against blackpool, other wise i expect albrighton to start upfront, he looks hungrier, more skillful, better shot, better positioning more direct.
