So just to give yall a quick update and some pretty cool news: Were now 16-2 (lost to # 3 and #4 in the country). Region is 6-0, if we win tomorrow against fort mill we will be region champions more than likely. That is our first goal of three. Only 6 regular season games to go before playoffs! One of my players, Ricardo Garbanzo, was selected for the Region III team and is in England right now playing against London based academy teams. They already beat Fulham 2-1 and he scored the game winner. Here is the itinerary if any of you can catch game, say hello to him for me, his nickname on the team is El Mago (hes from Costa Rica, so it means the magician in Spanish, I believe).

Dunne - 5 - Strikers head down, Defenders up, key mistake led to there goal. Collins - 5 - Looked a bit clumsy, not like the player we saw earlier in the season. Warnock - 7 - Did a great job going forward and at the back Young - 5 - Key components for a winger, beat your man and whip a decent ball in. Neither from Ash today Petrov - 6 - Solid as ever but no creativity. Milner - 7 - Great work rate but still no real creative force. Downing - 5 - See Young. Gabby - 6 - Average, but no real service Carew - 6 - See Gabby MON - Substitutions baffled me, why not bring on Delf and go 4-3-3 try and stretch them, and get some balls in behind there 2 attacking minded full backs, instead brining on one striker for another? I just didnt understand it. Defo Peno, would it have changed the game, honestly, I dont think so, we just dont have enough quality in the final 3rd, Downing and Young are under performing, Milner and Petrov are solid but dont offer enough creativity and our forwards are nowhere near mobile enough, but are being forced to just challenge for poor services into the box. If we dont spend money on some more creative players in the summer were going to just be as frustrated next year.

We have a realistic shot this year, it will be tough, but we got a shot, then well be down for a couple ofyears, then back up again! These things run in cycles. But id happily take one more and be done for a couple of years!

Were 2/3 of the way thru a pretty tough week this week. Played Tuesday vs a scrappy and physical York team, beat them 4-1. Pulled starting XI off at half time when it was 4-0 in preperation for a big derby on Weds Vs Fort Mill (report and pics below). Were 8-1 on the year and 2-0 in the region. Got the 3rd derby of the week on Saturday against the big inter city school rival Rock Hill.
