  1. I'd be happy for him to come in. Not worth any more than 10M though.
  2. Not to sad to see him go. Although him and Dunne should both go after the dreadful couple of seasons they have had. Can't see it being Sunderland though as they have to many CBS as it is
  3. I'm reading this Danny Simpson guff on twitter and frankly annoyed by it. No way do we want this useless piece of shit at the club. Smacks me as a McTwat signing. We need to and should be doing better than this
  4. Used to have my season ticket there. Wouldn't go to any other part of the ground. I go to the football to watch the football not eat expensive pies and drink shit lager. Yes the toilets aren't great but i've pissed and had a shit in far far worse places. It was also the right side of the ground for me as we parked the car up past Tesco in the school grounds. Great kebab shop up that road too! I also think it's the best area to sit/stand as you have the away fans close to have some banter with. Didn't renew last season though with him who will not be named was in charge. Sucked the life out of the club for me! Wouldn't hesitate to renew lower North either.
  5. I'm all for Carroll signing. If it is a loan it needs to have something down about a fee agreed in principal first though. Fed up of getting players up t their best and then they move back.
  6. I'd of thought that he's want his own backroom staff with him.
  7. Thompson seems highly regarded at Celtic although maybe for his playing days rather than is coaching. Really hope we get Lamberts backroom team in as they will be an important part of his managerial ability.
  8. Has Lambert bought any players from abroad and do the Norwich fans think he's shrewd in the market?
  9. If it is 3 or 4 million then we couldn't go wrong. Double his wages to 30k .and not even that should break the bank.
  10. Anyone not happy with this appointment needs to get real. He's a good manager with a very good record. Much better than OGS, Martinez and Rodgers.
  11. Is take that! He was my number 1 choice. Although when OGS was pretty much a certainty I warmed to him. I've also got him at 7/1 so have a vested interest in him becoming next boss!
  12. I know the bookies know nothing but! Lambert has dropped down to 1/1
  13. Some quotes this evening: I have spoken to Røkke (the financial backer), and we have decided to look forward. Put the events of this weekend behind us and improve. The process we've been through should make this club stronger. We are going to get more professional and get better in every aspect. Yes, I can continue [as Molde manager], despite what has happened. We've put it behind us, and I want to look forward. My contract runs for another two years. It's important that the communication between myself and the board is direct, not through media. It's business as usual. Game on Thursday and training all week. May is an important month, and we have a lot of confidence right now Premier League is appealing, but we'll have to wait and see what happens. I'm flattered by the interest, though. That's not a secret
  14. We pay out the sums he invests for 4-5 seasons on compensation for sacking a manager!
  15. I can't remember the last time League 1 produced teams which regularly got into the group stages of the Champions League. Not sure that that is a valid point beating in mind all countries get a qualifying spot. There are some really poor league competitions in various countries that also get spots.
  16. Although i feel i have been coaxed into the excitement of a young unproven manager by watching the video and seeing everyone else's excitement i am a little reserved too. I can't let the fact that he is managing at perhaps league 1 level with some part timers as members of his playing squad. It is an awfully big step. Not saying it isn't possible for him to come in and work wonders but he also has an awful playing squad to deal with. It is not going to be easy to offload some of the rubbish on our books even as free transfers as their wages are cost prohibitive for most sides. So not only is he unproven but also has a mammoth task of stripping the squad and trying to buy layers that fit with his idea of how he wants to play. I think the big question is Randy going to finance a complete overhaul?
  17. Agree wholeheartedly. And Richard should hold his head in shame.
  18. Where is all the Norwegian villans? What is their opinions?
  19. Can't argue with Collymore. Liverpool should expect a proven manager not a risky choice.
  20. If he does get in contact with MON then we can kiss his ass goodbye. No way is the club changing direction in that we've been trying to get wages down and as previously stated our net spend is near zero
  21. Curbishley might not be too bad and would be better than Mcleish for sure. I'm sure that Newcastle we're gutted when Pardew came in and he's done ok
