They are shitting themselves about the pace of our side over on kumb. They seem to think we're still short on numbers though and will play NRC at RB!!! Is L Young fit yet? Either way it's him or Beye at RB and i would think the end of Cuellar at RB. How Cole even starts for them after the shite season he had with us shows their lack of quality. Heskey is obviously not going to start after his performance or lack of at Everton. No way Friedel is ever going to get dropped in favour of Guzan unless he's suspended or injured. Not that i think that Guzan won't do a job as he's performed admirably when called upon. I'd go 4-5-1 for this as i believe we should always play this way on our travels. Got to be pleased to go through at a tough place to win at the moment. Guzan seemed to have had an excellent game and deserves a chance in the first team.

James for me. Friedel hasn't been all that great plus he's only been here a season. The defence in front of him didn't help last season though! Then again though what if he's here another few years and shows to be the best of the best. He won't be eligible for the best of the 10 decade.

SO SO Proud. Sat in a pub full of Liverpool fans with my shirt on with pride. Always go with the shirt in but tonight was special. Thought the defence was Superb. Special mention to Shorey, he's been shit most of the time but tonight i thought he was excellent. Beye played very well and Friedel was also excellent. We're still very short at the back though and Warnock and two centre halves will be very much needed. NRC, what can i say. 100% the best man on the field. Never stopped all night and when playing with Petrov and Sidders they were a very solid unit. I thought Milner played well and although Ash was quiet i thought he did what MON asked which was keep Johnson quiet. Which he did. Agbonlahor didn't do anything wrong, he never played up front really. Yes we were lucky for the first goal but no one can deny we didn't deserve the win. Get in there and up the VILLA. P.S, Please sign a creative midfielder, LB, 2 CB's and a 20 goal a season striker. You have 7 days.

Add some super signing like Sneijder and a goalscorer and we'll be challenging the top 4. Still need a couple of CB's though!!!!
