  1. General, how can the club justify changing the shirt every season given that the shirt is not available to buy until mid September? That's not even a full season to wear it! Surely this means that we will keep this shirt for longer than just one season?
  2. Gobsmacked about the kit sale date! How will they justify changing the shirt next season god only knows!
  3. My thoughts exactly. No quotes from any side says it all to me. I also am not of the opinion that we have no money to spend. How many other clubs have spent so far this window? Nothing to worry about and something will happen soon.
  4. I've said this all along, that we've got no money and was ridiculed for it Because previous windows have suggested that Randy will back MON. Of that i have no doubt
  5. Like both shirts. What do people want from a football shirt. There would be no point in changing it if they kept it the same every year
  6. Please not SWP. What does he offer to any club other than running around and losing the ball?
  7. He did hand a transfer request in to Newcastle though
  8. I picked up on that today from another source Luke Young has sold his house and bought a house in London and DAvies is in the process of doing the same both want out and Spurs have made contact but no bid to date ! We are interested in Keane but again dealing with spurs aint easy Levvy is Doug with brains . Sunderland wanted his full back but he wouldn't budge on his value . I think we may have to do a swap with DAvies and Keane in some form because it might work for us but that purely my opinion Surely Spurs being interested in Davies shows the lad has quality. It'll be a real shame for us to sell Davies. Wasn't his fee 12M? We chased him all summer too so shows how keen MON was on him. A swap for an ageing Keane is not a good swap at all.
  9. I mean this bit: However I think it could work for us with Davies Young and Keaneplus cash going in different routes again if thats correct .
  10. I was told we don't like players plus cash deals it has to be a straight cash deal . Not surprised us linked with him but think it will be a seperate deal if it's correct. It came from someone ITK from their side.
  11. I was told we don't like players plus cash deals it has to be a straight cash deal . Not surprised us linked with him but think it will be a seperate deal if it's correct. Why would that be? It doesn't make logical sense to me but maybe I'm missing something? It strikes me as a good way of ensuring you actually get players you want rather than possibly missing out on them because a deal gets struck for them with another club. Can you elaborate on the reasons for our reluctance to do that way? Because Villa think the values get clouded and if its 28 mill they don't want City saying here is 18 mill and 10 for Ireland as an example . They will leave the Ireland deal until after the Milner deal is done imo . However I think it could work for us with Davies Young and Keaneplus cash going in different routes again if thats correct . What do you mean by this?
  12. Having a look at the blue moon forum and they are basically saying that he won't even start for them! When you list their midfielders it is hard to see where he will fit in with the signings of Toure and Silva. Will be a silly move for him and one he will regret. For us i think we will rise from this stronger. 28M is silly money and more than they paid for Silva and Toure. They will look like complete mugs at that price
  13. I'm struggling to see who De Jong would pass the ball to if he played for us though. With Milner gone, the best we can hope for is a good Downing with a full pre-season under his belt. Ash is still very good but seems to have lost a bit of sparkle unfortunately. Delph, and a nother.
  14. Ireland doesn't have the attitude and work ethic to play under MON and consequently won't be coming. De jong on the other hand is a real battler and was one of City's best players last season. Just everywhere and wins the ball and gives it to someone to do something with, this is why they want something better. They want a ball winner that can also do the passing aka Toure. Would love De jong, i'd also take Bojinov
  15. I asked the General this exact question as Randy did say that. I received no reply
  16. We don't know for sure that he has instigated the move at all though, although i'm sure we will hear about it if he has. Would like to see Ireland involved in the transfer.
  17. Same as Hereford united had Nike shirts. They paid for the priviledge
  18. One thing to remember with Nike is that Wigan and Fulham paid Nike for their shirts where as we get paid. Anyone know the value of the Fulham deal?
  19. Perhaps he still wasn't well enough for the algeria game and was always a starter?
  20. Silva signing for Citeh, does this mean they have moved on?
  21. I'm not bothered who the sponsor is as long as any money is given to player purchases.
  22. Gone to ground? He's said we're not a selling club and that reads to me that Jimmy is not for sale
