General, I for one wasn't pleased with the teams overall performance in the Final, but that's water under the bridge now and hopefully we can learn from the experience and be stronger for it. However one thing has been annoying me all day and i need your goodself to even up the score so to speak. Since the loss i have been inundated with calls and texts from Small Heath fans mocking our great team. I'm nlt sure how they manage to text with cloven hooves but they do. So to cut to the chase, before we play them at Villa Park this season could you arrange with the powers that be to replay video on the screens and audio on the speaker system of the 5 - 1 win. Maybe even another flag day, make them see what a real team is all about.

What a surprising view. I thought we were up for it today, generally played well, put them under pressure probably more than most teams they play, and made chances. We looked a bit tired at the end, and didn't make the most of the chances created. But we looked competitive, threatening, and played our full part in what was a pretty entertaining game. Your opinion, but i disagree. I thought we looked second best and stood off them far too much.

A slip...... a major lack of concentration, why did he even look around to see who was behind him, he should have just hooved it up field instead of pussyfooting around with it. I want to see Villa win things, but we were **** awful all game, not one player looked like he wanted to take the game to the opposition. As soon we get into the opponents half we look to pass it back to defence, with stuoid little passes that have no weight on them and are easily intercepted, Cuellar couldn't pass the parcel....... his distribution is terrible for a premier league defender, Young thinks every game is about him, and that he is the only player on the pitch..... step over step over, straight into the defender.... time after time. Not one player can say they tried 100% today.

Not sure what match some were waching....... it was an absolutely passionless and lacklustre display by all of the Villa team. We were second to every ball and Ashley Young grates on me more every game with his lack of vision. What are those stupid lofted freekicks all about and the corners? He should be hitting them in hard and causing the opposing goalie to have second thoughts about coming or not..... instead its just catching practice. The defence, stood off United all game, not even attempting to make a tackle half the time, slow to react to he second ball, no creativity. An extremely poor performance all round in my view. We need major siginings in the summer if we are to even compete in the Europa league next season, let alone the Champions league.

Have the rest of the team had a spread bet on how many touches Cuellar has in a 60 second period........

I went to the Tranmere game and that was amazing, the tension, the noise of the crowd.... everything. I remember my mate getting up and walking to the exit, with me shouting him to "stay till the **** end you knob, and cheer the team at the end"..... he walked up the steps of the trinity i saw him disappear and then we scored and he came running back quicker than Linford Christie....
