  1. The Strokes - First Impressions of Earth. Whole album. Genius.
  2. Hi Gen, Just a quick thought. I was in London a few weeks ago and I went by train...I went to WH smith in Birmingham New Street and was looking at the magazines on offer, had a look in the sports section, and I was quite surprised by what I'd seen. I saw Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool magazines, even a Newcastle United magazine, even a BIRMINGHAM CITY magazine...but no issue of Claret & Blue on sale? Over the years in various newsagents and supermarkets too I've seen this, almost every freelance newsagent that sells magazines in Birmingham has Birmingham City magazines and Manchester United magazines for sale. Then, when I got to London, at the WH Smith at the train station, it was the same magazines minus the Birmingham City one and there were Tottenham and West Ham magazines for sale there. It seems that the cities in question have their local teams magazines for sale in Wh Smith terminals around the city the club is located in. So here is my question, have you ever thought about the sale of Aston Villa magazines in newsagents or Wh Smith in terminals for train stations and/or airports around Birmingham? I'm sure they would be a huge hit for those who are choosing something to read for a long distance journey, and it would also raise the profile of the club at the same time...I was with 3 other Villa fans on my journey to London and they said that they would have loved to buy one for the trip. Just a thought Gen All the best
  3. Thing is, when that Everton fan said they wished Laursen, Young and Agbonlahor would break their legs or whatever, their was **** uproar on this board, but it's OK to say it about other players? Hmm. Turning the blind eye are we? What if a player said they wished you broke your leg? You should never wish injury upon anyone. Especially a broken leg.
  4. And for the record I said yes because they probably will, doesn't bother me if they do, better to have a change

  8. bloody love that album,it's bostin deja entendou is one of the most underated albums ever. its weird because they dont seem to have that big a fan base over here, but lots of people i know own the album, but dont really talk about it cus they think no one else has it. the videos to sic transit and quiet things are amazing also. very underated bands I saw them at Birmingham academy last Feb than again at Give it a name festival in err April at Birmingham NIA..both times were amazing although at Give it a name festival they only played music off TDAGARIM...which was dissapointing But apparantly they played a secret show on the second stage due to a band dropping out. Jesse Lacey is genius, I love Brand New, their lyrics are amazing So have another drink and drive yourself home, I hope there's ice on all the roads, I hope you think of me when you forget your seatbelt and again when your head goes through the windshield. Is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with, 'cos I've seen more spine in jellyfish, and seen more guts in 11 year old kids. Quality.
