    Or, looking at it another way, gabby and Benteke both made moves to the left. Delph chose to turn his back on them and go right, thus permitting 3 arsenal defenders to close him down, knowing he couldn't put a crossfield ball in, while he's facing the Touchline. Delph chose the hole he dribbled into.

    The old saying is no news is good news. But that's not true on VT. We all turn into snarling angry beasts and make horrible assumptions about everyone at the club, on VT, and especially the Prime Minister. For that reason especially, I appreciate Villa-Revolution and others who look to turn it into a laugh about breakfast, or Dr. Who, or Beatles lyrics, or whatever.

    I geniunly think that we have a full 1million to spend this january. There. We balance each other out. And your assertion has no more solid basis than mine.... although I'll admit yours is probably mathematically closer to what we will spend.

    I don't know, I can think of quite a few we have signed that are both awful and lazy, hasn't seemed to be a problem before. He would have fit in perfectly with most of our signings 2-5 years ago. Since then, we seem to have eliminated our interest in lazy, but the other hasn't been a limitation at all. At least not if you value all VT opinions of the players.

    Have to admit, I think dismissing Lambert is such a bad idea that I find the thread title offensive and annoying. I just realized I've been avoiding the thread hoping it would drop off the first page. Can we not rename it something less inflammatory?

    I started to write the single word daleks say the most..... Then I remembered the last picture I saw of him. (His hands nor his wallet were visible ). Anyway, he could go ill and my sense of humor would not seem funny any more. He was tight, to tight. But I would wish him well.

    Wanting transfer news but getting none, we continue to discuss HH. Watching Dr Who from season 2 and Dr Who noticed the hairs on the back of his hands he said " look at my manly hairy hands." I jumped out of my chair. Anybody know if the team doctor has been changed? I know, I know, don't raise trouble and now you'll race off to the next page. But I seriously didn't know which was funnier. My theory or the excitement about it that made me jump out of my chair!

    No real excuse for that. Tactics were wrong and we didn't change them. Albrighton needs to hit crosses to near post only. He over hits 80% of them, so if he aims near post, someone who can finish can make a far post run. We have no one with the ability to be useful in possession.

    To be honest, I don't understand how you can watch us play and not see what Weimann does. Clearly, he is not producing goals or control of the ball for far too long. But what he creates around him... I am truly baffled that so many can't see it.
