I used to love Ricky Gervais, but I thought afterlife was awful and his last few stand up shows have been really weak.
Some crappy joke like “you can always tell a transgender bloke by their big hands” and then a 10 minute lecture about why he doesn’t care if that joke offends someone.
Then telling us about someone tweeting him about god and how he silenced them by replying something really witty like “which god are you talking about? Zeus?” or another line he’s been dining out on for 15 years.
All my opinion of course, maybe I’m just a woke snowflake and he’s just too edgy for me nowadays.

Bah!! Throughout the year, I’ll read some article about a celebrity with a terminal illness or a photo of them looking like death and think “must remember to pop them on my list”.
I can’t remember one.

There’s a miserable, moaning bellend that sits behind me in K7 that has been quiet this season, he hasn’t had much to complain about. Mouthing off from the first minute tonight though, along with a few others.

This kind of thing has been talked about before on here, but The Grimleys was first made in 1997 and set in 1975.
That's only 22 years difference, but the difference in the music, the fashion, the attitudes etc is huge. I remember watching it as a kid and felt like ancient history.
I reckon if you showed a kid today a TV show that was set in 2001, I don't think they would notice too much, apart from maybe the phones and computers being a bit rubbish.

I wouldn't worry about if you like what's happening or not at the moment, there'll be a change of plan again in the new year anyway.
I'm looking forward to the 2025/26 crest being unveiled in a few months time!

One of the things I love about spotify is the way it helps you discover new bands and check out the rising stars. I've just had a notifcation recommending an artist based on other artists I listen to.
Some lad called "Jimi Hendrix".
I've just listened to his cover of All Along the Watchtower. It's decent, you music guys should check it out.

If ghosts are thing, even if a very rare thing, there's been so many living creatures on the planet that there should be ghosts absolutely everywhere. We should be wading through a ghostly tide of bacteria
You’ve clearly never walked around Small Heath.

I like Christmas jumpers. I also like it when me, my wife and kids are all wearing matching pyjamas on Christmas Eve night though, so maybe my opinion is invalid.
I saw someone wearing this at the Arsenal game, I've just ordered it.

I sat in the North Stand for one season. There were a few blokes around me that I hope will be in their seats when the wrecking ball comes.

I think there was an awful lot of white snow on the Upper Holte today. Bell end central.
