Alternatively the new manager does what Capello did which is try his best to get the team into a system which while not particularly attractive will get results. This doesn't work either though as it's not what the fans want and the players are not intelligent, disciplined or technically sound enough to implement it on the International stage. .

It's a familiar tale. Absolutely adored this game since ISS Pro right up to the start of next-gen releases, where despite endless promises and false dawns it's just been one crushing disappointment after another. I've given up on it now and there is just something not right about FIFA so I'd rather go without and be glad Mass Effect 3 is coming along soon instead.

I think we are pretty much fine now for this season. The one thing I would say is that we MUST be clear and safe with 5 or so games to spare because this team does not have the fight or backbone to go into a high pressure scrap to the finish.
