  1. Tim Sherwood motivational speaker of the year award? Lol Or, is it the return of Kev Mac that's made the change in us?
  2. What the feck do we all know hey? Just enjoy us scoring again FFS.
  3. Being a dad is the best feeling ever - that's for sure! On the day of the Villa v Leicester cup game I was changing my 17 month old son's nappy and I said to him "We're going to nanny & granddad's and we're going to watch the Villa whilst we're there". He smiled and excitedly said "Gooooooal". I laughed and said "No son, this is the Villa so there might not be any goals". Joking of course! It's amazing how he's probably only ever seen 3 Villa games on TV and doesn't really sit down long enough to watch anything. He's got a Villa ball though and I taught him how to kick and say "Goooooal" which he now says to everything after he's kicked it lol. Kids are amazing!!
  4. Plant of the Apes - Sir David Attenborough feature length wildlife documentary about man's attempt to save the ailing ape species through genetic engineering. To protect the dying ape population from becoming extinct, chimpanzee genes have been artificially inseminated into tree cells, allowing them to grow from birth into their natural habitat. Sponsored by PG Tips.
  5. Lack Beauty - Biopic of Katie Price Cum - Biopic of Jordan
  6. Night of the living dad - Real life camera footage of a Dad sleeping.
  7. A Shark's Ale - The inspirational true story of a retired Yorkshireman who, whilst on holiday in Australia, is attacked by a Great White and has his arms so badly mauled that he has to have them amputated. Three years later, with newly fitted prosthetic limbs, he finally achieves his lifelong retirement dream of opening his own pub and pulling the first point. Tagline: He's mild - not bitter!
  8. I thought this just after we employed Sherwood but can't remember if I posted it or not so sorry if this is a repeat. Does anybody else think that, had we got him in last summer, he might have brought (or attempted to) Harry Kane with him? He'd have still been relatively unknown then and bearing in mind most - if not all - of the first team coaching staff would have left and probably come with Sherwood too.
  9. Tar Wars - True story about two companies who go head to head in a battle to win the contract to re-surface the potholed roads of the UK.
  10. When arry met Sally - Jim White narrated documentary about Harry 'candleface' Redknapp's failed attempt to sign the Togolese Zidane.
  11. Panic Roo - Natives in the Australian outback become terrorised by a rogue group of man-eating Kangaroos that have genetic defects caused by the British military's nuclear testing decades ago.
  12. I like the way he said he changed to more of a passing game because relegation battles aren't suiting our style. I'm enjoying his management so far, even if team selections are not always to my liking.
  13. He's certainly brought a positive vibe to the club which is very much welcomed by me. I've stopped being bored by the club.
  14. I like his aggression on the pitch. It's a man's game and he plays it like one. Massive credit to him for his attitude and the way he's responded to being recalled to the club and starting eleven.
  15. Unless we get some cb's fit for Saturday night we're are looking at this lad being our leader in defence so need him to cut out the silly mistakes.
  16. Got to love Sherwood's celebrations tonight. Much better than the boring man from North of the border.
  17. It was a bad decision to play N'Zogbia but other than that I think it was OK. My main concern now is about the defence for Saturday. I've been saying all along that the winners today will be the losers on Saturday and I still think that will be the case, especially given our defensive situation and the fact the baggies probably won't be so defensive from the start. Well done Tim! Good win and great tempo from the team first half.
  18. I think we deserved the 3 points but do wonder what it would have been like if the baggies had actually come to play football first half. Hopefully, the guys would have gained some confidence from that and now we can...ahem...go again!
  19. I have always liked him but tonight he was really poor, apart from one clearance.
  20. Getting used to playing centre forward again?
  21. Guys, we always gift a soft goal. Sherwood's only spoken about getting us scoring but our defensive record has been shit for years so we always need two goals to have a chance of winning.
  22. Goal was a class finish and he was unlucky not to net. Definitely a pen. How many do you see given even when the attacking player has no chance of getting to the ball.
