    Talking to a mate last night who personally knows one of the players. I'm not gonna name the player but one of our main players isn't a big fan of Jack at all and finds him to be too unprofessional and a bit of a diva.

    I love the Villa but career and personal finances come first. It would be a harder decision to make in Jack's position but when you crunch the numbers he'll make a lot more at Man City and I don't see him playing into his mid 30's with such a reoccurring problem injury. Sad but true. It doesn't mean he's not a fan, look at Albrighton.

    We nurtured a player from childhood to a British record transfer signing. As a fellow human I wish him all the luck in the world for what is an amazing opportunity. As a Villa fan I hope we do them next season at Villa Park. On to super captain Mings.

    Genuinely think we'll use the money wisely and replace the chances he creates and fill that gap when Grealish is injured and we fall apart. This whole thing has taught me that in today's game you can't get sentimental about a player, they're commodities there to do a job. They're not supporters. Onwards and upwards.

    I really can't make my mind up what I think will happen but SURELY the club wouldn't have him out training for 2 days in a row in front of fans if he was going. It would be so disappointing and only reflect badly on the club.
