  1. It isn't a thing that's happening in the short term, but Cahill has said he's off at the end of his current deal in 2012. Cahill makes plans for Everton exit Would think they'd get someone to replace him by then.
  2. I'm pretty sure that figure is wrong. The Premier League website says he had 6. Where did 17 come from? All competitions, he got 5 against Brann alone, in one game.. :winkold: My bad! Very Impressive!

  4. My friend was telling me last week that some of his Asian friends have said before that Asian people generally don't eat curries as hot as a Phall (as an example) because it's just not good at all for your body (I don't mean nutritionally). Apparently anyway! I generally like to go for the specialities on whatever restaurant I go for, I like a bit of variety. Another question for you guys though, what rice and sundries do people have? If I have rice it's usually pilau and a nice stuffed paratha too. Spot on!
  5. Never need an excuse to revive this thread. Has anyone got a link to a news story from when SHA published our honours instead of their own? Wanna show it to my Blues supporting mate just for amusement. Cheers.
  6. Sorry but couldn't resist posting one last Chuck Norris statement: Chuck Norris can shoot down an aeroplane by making a gun shape using his thumb and index finger.

Great...so I can't text any of my mates now then?!
  8. Vagina Dildo is an anagram of David Ginola.
  9. Yeh it's where The Works used to be, at the top end of Broad Street near the Five Ways island. They are strict on the door, especially at the moment as they have a huge amount of people wanting to go in. That'll calm down though. i would advise if you want to go, check if they are selling tickets before hand and buy some, as they'll let you in if you have a ticket (as long as you aren't dressed like a tramp!). Otherwise just get there fairly early, dress smart and you should be fine. It's a top night out though, recommend it highly. This arguement all started because we went there on Friday (Indie night)...but on the subject of the venue and how the night is; The queue looked massive when we got there, probably about 150-200 people in it but we got to the front in about 10 minutes. I was expecting to get ID'd but the bouncers didn't even look twice at me (I'm vertically challenged, but I do still look my age (22)). £5 in, so same price as the Academy, can't complain there. If you want to put your coat in at the cloakroom, be prepared for a bit of a walk and a long queue. I couldn't be arsed with it in the end so not sure how much it costs. I didn't stray far from the main room, but there are 3 other rooms in the place too that place a variety of dance, cheese, etc, so I'm sure you can find something there that you'll like. Main room plays mainly indie and mainstream dance, more popular stuff rather than obscure album songs. I have to say though, the selection of tunes when we were there was top notch. The dancefloor is always packed ala busy Snobs, and the atmosphere was generally pretty good down there. You get the odd dickhead pushing you in the back, but most people don't mind the cosyness. Queue for drinks is a bit of a bitch, but what place isn't on Broad St? They had a deal going on that was something like 2 double vodka and mixer for £5. I don't drink the clear stuff myself, but apparently it was a decent deal. Other than that, drinks drinks aren't Ramshackle cheap, but they're not extortionate either, so it won't burn a whole in your pocket. Overall it was a decent night, which would have been made better if I was out of my tree, couldn't seem to get drunk though. I would definitely recommend trying it once at least. If you Rams a lot, it's a good Friday alternative.
  10. Thanks for clearing that up, I knew there had to be a reason for why the capacity isn't so high. I'll tell my friend to politely **** off now And yeah I believe it's still supposed to be moving to the Dome. Never been there though, is the place any good? (The Dome I mean.)
  11. You'd think so wouldn't you? I thought it would eclipse the 4,000 mark, but when i searched Google for the capacity it came up with a report from one of the Birmingham newspapers about the opening of Gatecrasher, saying it had a capacity of 2,400. Very surprising given the length of the queue you get there. Either way, the place is absolutely **** huge, I really couldn't understand my mate's logic, you could easily get lost or lose someone else in that place.
  12. Just a little debate I was having with my mate at the pub tonight, thought I'd get some fellow VTer's opinion on the matter. Basically, which do you think is bigger, in terms of size? For those that have been to both, taking into account all the available rooms and floors in Gatecrasher, and both the main room in Academy and the Academy2. I personally think Gatecrasher is the clear winner, although my friend has already done me on capacity, with the Academy have 3000, Gatecrasher 2400. So, which one do you guys think?
  13. I just got back from Mexico and saw Dana White, Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin of UFC fame in Coco Bongos in Cancun
  14. yes, size 12 is considered normal now because too many people are overweight! but i agree with you, in terms of a partner, size is irrelevant. personality is much more important. but this question is about how you like your women, personality being given as a constant. Not sure the question applies to life partners who hopefully at least we all pick on personality. However nobody looks across a room and says "phooorrr look at the personality on her" do they. In the same way that a good sense of humour is important on us blokes, but when was the last time you saw a stunning bird walking round a club looking for some bloke telling knock knock jokes?! Personally I prefer them smaller both in terms of weight and height, I am a skinny tall man so being with a bigger girl is going to fill too many steroetypes for my liking. Petite is good for me, my missus is an 8, but 10 -12 is fine too - height has a lot to do with it. +1, although height has to come into it for me, as I'm only 5 and a half foot, so girls have to be either the same height or, ideally, smaller than me. I do enjoy petite girls, particularly with massive cans and a cracking arse too.
  15. As good as Mellberg was, Young offers something different at right back. He can attack more and I think he has a bit more pace. He's not as good defensively as Olof, but for the position, it balances out, with maybe Young just edging seeing as it's his specialist position. IMO it's quite similar with Shorey and Bouma too. Bouma is a great defender and is great in the tackle, but his use of the ball leaves something to be desired. Shorey can pass very well and he also gets back well. As your last sentence states, the difference is the 'keeper, which is a huge improvement. And with Bouma still to come back, I will have to go with this year's defence. Thank you please.
  16. I once told David Blaine's brother to "do some magic and **** off".
  17. Dunno if this one's been on here but... Man walks into the doctors... Doctor: Sir, you need to stop masterbating. Man: Why? Doctor: Because I'm trying to examine you.
