    I really love the shirt and have just bought it, but does anyone else think that the claret is ever so slightly off? Was looking at it compared to some of the older shirts and it definitely looks a little paler. I'm just nitpicking now tbh. Edit: the blue is definitely a lighter shade too. I, shamefully, usually wear a long sleeve Nike pro shirt under the Villa shirt when I play football...it matched the sleeves of last seasons kit perfectly, but it doesn't match the blue of this seasons shirt.

    That is quite the review! I know what you mean about it looking a bit big in places, looks like they've given the players the size bigger than the one they usually take. West Ham have a navy away kit for next season fairly similar to what you've described there.

    I'm sure some will still dislike it, but I guarantee that after seeing the official shots of the kits on the players some will change their mind. I haven't seen them or anything, it just happens every year.

    This shirt is a **** load better than those Hummel ones! It's claret body, blue sleeves with a Villa badge on, what else does it need to have to make it less West Ham?

    I wish people would stop judging the kit from that awful quality photo. Wait until the official shots come out, I guarantee it'll look much better on the players. For people questioning the colours and saying they don't look right - look at the colours on the official teaser picture. That's what they will actually look like.

    If Ciaran Clark starts in centre midfield tomorrow, I'll shit a **** cinder block, never mind a brick! From what I've seen of the lad he doesn't have the mobility to be a centre midfielder, and it's far too big an occasion to do it for the first time. I'd want GH to try it out in the cup, even tell K-Mac to try it in the reserves before he tries it in the biggest derby for the club.
