If we'd have gotten in a 'special' signing, something for the fans to get excited about, a merse type player then i'd have voted for one of the top 2 options. We have strenthened and brought in some very decent players, however none of these really are a step above what we already have and none will bring the crowds racing back to Villa park in excitement. That said, we should now be more solid and who knows, a good run like last year and maybe we'll have the experience and learning to push on.

Even if he was any good i wouldn't want him, he is a scum bag and the fact is he's shit to boot - over rated years ago and as many people have said, hasn't done anything since then either! The fact that Newcastle took him on after everything he did warrents them being relegated. Barton should have been thrown out of football years ago... it's clubs like Newcastle who put morals to one side whilst they lust after success which allows thugs like him a way back in, thus impressionable young kids think it's acceptable to hit people in the street, put your team mates in hospital etc etc. :evil:

WHAT!!!??? There is no way any of those films should be remade... they're not that old for starters! Plus they've got that cheesy innocence of the 80's and early 90's about them. And when i say that i mean that as much in the way that at the time nobody was too hung up about special effects and you'd never here the line "like that'd ever happen". Modern day cinema audiences are too demanding and harder to please (and i include myself in that). In addition to that i feel the modern day comedian struggles to work in this kind of environment. Classic comedians like Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray could make you laugh without even trying and i don't think you've got anywhere near that talent in the current hollywood line up. You try putting the modern successors in such a line up and you end up with something like 'Wild Hogs' or some bollox with Chris Rock.

We now have a natural balance to the back 4, plus not just a great keeper in Friedal, but an organiser and an experienced one at that.

I have never experienced either of them, so i'm plumping for Ferrari's on the basis that they attract beautiful, loose moralled women, whereas East Anglia on the map looks like an arse.
