    Well we all know we need 2 or 3 at a minimum. I dont think many people are exepcting any more because signings more than 7 players in a transfer window is very rare. We know it will take PL 3 transfer windows to get the squad he wants. However, to make sure he can do that we need to ensure we have a competitive team this season to maintain our PL status. At present we have a squad and team bereft of confidence, togetherness and creativity. Its a bit of a nothing team to be honest.

    Richard, I sense some doubt in your post whereas before you were adamant PL would get backing. I am the same. My hope and enthusiasm is slowly fading.

    I think it's obvious if we don't sign 2 or 3 players then we will struggle and end up between 14th to 16th. However I hope and think we will as PL is no mug. I am getting worried slightly as there is not even a whiff of a transfer.

    Just saw that PL is at Wolves today.

    It's worryingly quiet for us. We usually get a sniff of transfernews early in the week and at the minute there is nothing so I don't think we will see any action this week.

    Actually went past that a few times as I live in Wanstead. It was completely empty each time and I felt really sorry for those setting up shop there.
