I see where SNE is coming from tbh. Some things are more important then football. However not sure what Benayoun has ever done to warrant the lack of support. You cant tar him with the same brush. Also remember that would be £18m net spend without Warnock and Hutton leaving. I am sure if they left we would sign 2 more players. Question marks still over Dunne, N'Zogbia, Delph, Herd, Ireland, Gabby and Delfouneso for me. I really want them all to succeed and think a couple will but I think if we got offers for any of those then we would sell. -
Maybe not now but wouldnt be surprised if we go for him again. We need 2 for every position and I am not sure on Stevens

Richard wait till end of Summer Window 2013. I think by then you will have an idea of the backing PL would have received. Chances are PL will spend big on 1 or 2. They have to be the right players however. If we sign Benetke for £7m then how much would we have spent? -

Personally I think PL has the money. Read his interview. He wants a certain type of player and that type of player will not cost you £10m plus. He may buy one or two in the higher price range but I think it will be rare. -

Bennett will be a top player with the right coaching. Just hope fans dont get on his back when he makes mistakes, which he will.

Actually I think we have a few strikers lined up just in case and journos have obviously got hold of the information. AVFC really want Benetke and player really wants to come. That usually results in a transfer. Dont think Genk will want to keep hold of a unhappy player and £7m estimated is a lot of money for them.

simontee has got alot right and has DM'ed me a couple of bits of info that have all come true. Think he does alot of work for alot of football league clubs and obv knows someone at AVFC. He's an AVFC fan of course.

If PL can get Norwich to 12th he can make sure we stay in the Prem. Dont forget he has some good players at the club. Yes he needs more and I hope we get at least 3 more in this window and a couple in Jan.

I've said it from the very beginning that we should be after Bennett. Seen him play plenty of times. Has great potential. He will off days though as he gains more experience. I hope the fans will give him the patience he needs to succeed at this level.

To be honest I fully expect our team to blow hot and cold this season and we will end up between 10th and 14th. Don't expect much more. Importantly we are moving in the right direction. we are buying players hungry to succeed. Players from abroad with lower wages and low fees that have the talent to succeed And the future stars of the Prem before they are stars. Yeah every player may not work but it's better than spending £8m on a player with £40k wages on an average player.
