    Big season for Curtis, he talks a good game and he's got everything to be a top defender. Terrible since Christmas but I'll give him benefit of the doubt that it's down to playing with three different partners, fatigue and niggling injuries (aswell as his dislocated shoulder!) He needs to step up this season.

    Top 7 and a decent run in the cups would see me pleased again. I'm not going to be dissapointed if we don't improve again. I reckon 5th-8th will be a toss-up between us, Spurs, Man City and Everton. Top 7, qualify for Europe again, and have a real crack at the cups and I'd be pretty pleased.

    It seems Wuo is the only one putting an argument for Petrov being better so how come the poll is so close? People voting with their hearts over their heads? Either way for me Barry is the far better player. Petrov is even slower than Barry and cannot pass or read the game as well. Barry doesn't really need to make sliding challenges in that position because he reads the game so well, effortlessly sweeps up.
