  1. Abraham for me, just pay what Roma want for him. Chelsea shouldn’t have sold him in the first place
  2. Emmanuel from Watford? More of a winger for me, I rate him highly
  3. I’d pay it for him, I rate him so highly and he’s been here before albeit on loan
  4. He creates such debate, for me, he is a fantastic player. If he does leave us permanently for Nottingham Forest or someone else, he will do well wherever he goes. He is at an age where he needs regular first team and an opportunity to showcase his talents. He has a very unique skill set, a great ability to hold up the ball, he’s so close to being a top Premier League striker but he just can’t do the hardest thing to do in football and that is to score goals regularly in the Premier League. This season for Nottingham Forest, he has scored 5 goals in 15 Championship matches and in all competitions, he has scored 5 goals in 21 matches for Forest, he will go on to have a great career
  5. This still hasn’t been announced officially? Getting a bit worried now but that’s my pessimistic side, just need to be patient, good things come to those that wait. I have a good feeling about this transfer, even though I don’t think I have seen him play. I’ve only got YouTube clips to go on but he looks very commanding, I hope that he partners Mings at the back for us and they make a formidable partnership for us but there are some rumours of Newcastle United being in for Mings, I hope not, he was playing brilliantly for us at the end of last season. If this signing of Carlos does go through, we will have real competition for places at centre back with Callum Chambers, Ezri Konsa and Kortney Hause as our back up centre backs
  6. 7 goals in 30 Premier League matches, less than 1 in 4, for me, it’s a poor return for an experienced Premier League striker that cost £25m. No such thing as an automatic starter, we have competition for places now in our squad
  7. I had forgotten that, thanks for reminding me
  8. It always happens and then the fans get on the player’s back, causing his confidence to be affected and then the player moves to another club
  9. He was excellent for Burnley and Southampton, I was expecting him to take that form in to our team but it just hasn’t happened like that. Flop is a bit harsh perhaps but he’s at an age where he’s only going to decline. Nick76, you’re always quick to put down one of my posts. Our fans were so excited when we first signed him, me included but he just hasn’t performed to his maximum. He also doesn’t give 100% for the team in my opinion, when I watch him, he doesn’t bust a gut, he just ambles and he’s here for one last pay day
  10. I remember the reaction on here when we signed Danny Ings, we all thought he was going to be fantastic for us, me included. 7 goals in 31 Premier League matches last season, less than 1 goal every 4 matches. He’s 29 years old, past the peak age for a footballer, he’s only going to decline. For me, he’s been a flop but I think football fans expectations generally especially of their own team’s players are too high. There’s a reason Liverpool didn’t keep him on their books and now we’re stuck with him
  11. Blimey, I got something right on here, might as well shut the forum down!
  12. Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t we the most active club in the league regarding transfers? I could be wrong but I don’t think I am
  13. We’ve signed 3 players already and we’re not even in June, just as I’m typing this I’m thinking that you’re being sarcastic, I could be wrong
  14. And we can’t compete with them in your opinion?
  15. If Martinez did get injured, who would you want to see in goal for us next season?
  16. That’s why he’s back up then, why do you think we brought him to Villa?
