Good thread. I'm intrigued by some of the things people have been reading, and may give some of them a try. I have so many favourite books that to make a list would take me forever, although I will try to list some. My favourite genre is Crime, followed behind by any general fiction (ranging all the way to fantasy). My favourite authors in the Crime genre include Ian Rankin, George Pelecanos, and Lawrence Block. Has anybody else read any of their books, or into the whole Crime scene? I think each of these authors are great in their own way. Original stories with plenty of grit, and great characters to boot. When it comes to other books some of my favourites include the following: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley 1984 by George Orwell Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck The Lord of The Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien Lord of the Flies by William Golding To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling (I love all of this collection) Catch-22 by Joseph Heller Empire of the Sun by J.G. Ballard The Shakespeare Secret by J.L. Carrell Those are some of my favourite books. Each of them I enjoyed for different reasons. I recommend any of them to anyone that has the time to read them. I am currently reading Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes, and am finding it to be really good so far.

Haven't read the new patch notes yet. But apparently you will now be able to get your first mount at level 30. Good for new players. I have started playing again, and have rolled a mage. So, now I have a level 70 rogue, level 41 lock, level 35 mage (my newest one), level 32 priest, and a level 17 hunter.

I hate Man Utd, but have to say they deserved it in my opinion. They should have had Chelsea dead and buried in the first half. But Chelsea got a jammy goal, and ended up fighting back (probably due to the goal) in the second half. It was a good game for a neutral, and I enjoyed watching it. Plus Terry missing was priceless. Oh, and one other big thing for any Chelsea supporters out there: "HAVE YOU WON THE EUROPEAN CUP?!" Sorry, I had to! Now we can keep singing this to them, knowing that they have spent an absolute fortune and still can't win it. Whereas we. the mighty Villa, still have it under our belts. UTV!

To be honest, I've got a bit bored of WoW since I hit 70. Has anybody else had this? Some people say the game begins at 70. Yet, it just seems to be all about getting gear now, which will be nerfed in a few months when LK comes out anyway. I've rolled a Paly now, so I may just play as him until the expansion is out. Then go back to my rogue and lvl him to 80.

I personally hate them both. I want Chelsea to win in a way, as I hate Man Utd. Then again, I want Man Utd to win, so we will still have our European Cup win over Chelsea. Even though the fact remains that if Chelsea do win it, they have basically purchased the trophy. Anyone else have any opinions on this?

"Shrinking Man" by The Hands. Anyone ever heard of it? It's a really good track, that I found randomly a year or two ago.

I love them both so much, and couldn't do without either to be honest. Yet, if I had to choose, then it would be films. They take me away from the real world. Also I want to become a film director, which would push me towards films too.

Personally I own a 360, and think that is the best console, having played both the Wii and PS3. I am not saying the other two are bad consoles though, it is all down to personal preference. I'd have all three if I could afford it! I just love the range of games on the 360, and the controller. My advice would be to get a 360 or a Wii at the moment. Then wait until the PS3 price tumbles down. By then there should be more games for the PS3, and better ones. Plus it has the added bonus of Blu-ray. Then you would be able to use your 360 or Wii for games, and your PS3 for games or as a Blu-Ray player. The PS3 will be worth buying (when the price drops) as a Blu-Ray player alone, as it is cheaper than most others on the market, and can be updated. So, get the 360 or Wii now, then the PS3 when it comes down in price. Just my opinion. Yet, as I said, it all comes down to personal preference. Whatever you get, just enjoy it. That's what all of the consoles are meant to be, fun!

I have now hit lvl 70 with my rogue (first time have been lvl 70), as I'm quite new to the game. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some advice on what gear to aim for so that I can start doing Kara runs with my guild? I am thinking of getting the two pvp swords and perhaps one other pvp epic item to tie me over until actually running kara and getting better quality gear. This alone is a problem as I heard season 4 gear is coming out. Should I wait? Also, the biggest problem is the rest of my gear. Any advice on some good pieces would be much appreciated. I'm not a LWer by the way, so I can't craft my own items, yet there is a 360 LWer in my guild. So any items that he could make would be great, or any items you think I could get quite simply would also be great. Thanks.

Am on an rp server and have a lvl 42 lock alt, and now my main as a lvl 39 rogue, both on alliance. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have any tips for me lvling my 39 rogue in the quickest amount of time. Also, do any of you recommend any good addons? I had Cartographer, but it was causing problems in my game (such as slow-down). Now, I just have FuBar and MetaHud. Is Questhelper any good? I was thinking of downloading it if it will help me to lvl faster. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks. Also, The_Rev, what is the addon called that makes the portraits look like yours in the screenshot on the last page? Been looking on curse for an addon that does that, but can't find one.

I've finally got a subscription to WoW. I had to start from scratch though, which to be fair didn't mean much, as I hardly played the trial version I had, due to exams. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody can give me any tips or anything? I'm a human Warlock in an RP game. Any tips on the best way to level up and on how to get more money? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers!

Only by the gonks. Normal people would be rational. I think there would be a mass suicide pact from everyone on here. Yet, I don't think it would be from "gonks". And I do feel it would be very rational to be annoyed with signing Bramble. He total rubbish!! No denying it. We would be the laughing stock if we signed him. And O'Neill would look an absolute joke of a manager if he even tries to get him. That's not being irrational either. It's just the facts. BRAMBLE IS SHITE!!

Oh jesus god no! I think Jez has said it all! If this happens I will be disgusted. I will seriously start worrying about O'Neills judgement if we sign Bramble. Even as a squad player, he just is not good enough!

I'm sick of saying this. But, Tribalfootball is not the source. It gets its information from newspapers etc etc. Therefore it can be reliable at times and not reliable at others. So saying it is without any form of truth is a bit ignorant of you, and shows that you don't actually realise what Tribalfootball is. Anyway, back on topic. I hope we get Bellamy and NRC. I think they would both be great signings, and would push us on that bit further!

I think the reason was that he had been performing so badly. But, more importantly that I think he is the ring-leader of the little "gang" they have at West Ham, that thinks they own the club. I'd gladly have him at VP though!

Don't know if anybody has mentioned it already, but The Times linked us to Harewood yesterday. I hope this isn't true! If we sign him I would be bitterly disappointed. On the other hand, we were also linked to Nugent yesterday, which I like the sound of.

Look at AJ, Everton buy him for 8mill for his goalscoring record in the Prem the previous season. 9-10 of those were pens That's true, but in all honesty AJ is a constant threat for Everton. He's a quality forward in my opinion. We've got a similar player in Gabby. I think what we need is another big player upfront. We've got pace in Moore and Gabby (and Young if you include him as a forward), plus the size of Carew. That means too small(ish) pacey forwards, and one big target man. So in my opinion we need another target man. Klose anybody? In my dreams. But, I just feel it would be nice to have a more powerful forward to compliment the ones we already have. In that sense maybe Yakubu is the ideal option. Although, I still believe we should be aiming higher. I personally would like to see Ashton, Keane, or Bent. Although these are not exactly huge target men, they are different to what we have in certain ways, thus adding an extra dimension to our attack.

Let's just go and look for some good Argentenian players, sig them through their agent for a small fee, and then pay 5 million to the F.A. for the both of them. Worked for West Ham, so I don't see the problem. Might as well all have a go!

If we get Yakubu, I would be slightly dissapointed. Yes, he is a good forward. But I just think we should be aiming higher. Keane, Nugent, Defoe, or Bent would all be better options in my opinion. I see no reason why we could not get them. Does anybody else? We're one of the biggest clubs in the league, and now we have a great manager and loads of money to back us. Surely players can see that! As far as Barton goes, I think he could be a good buy. He may be a bit of a risk, but I think O'Neill could control him and get the best out of him. When he is at his best, I'd say he's one of the better centre-midfielders in the league. Pasing ability (which is needed), tireless runner, gets stuck in, and commands the centre of the park basically. I think that if he can put his bad attitude and bad past behind him and focus on his football, then he could be the bargain of the year at 5 million. Anything under 10 for him would in all honesty appear to be a bargain if we can get the best out of him. The question is, is he worth the risk? If O'Neill thinks he is, then so do I. Sneijder on the other hand is a player that if we have any possibility of signing at all, then it must be done. He's a quality player, and is the level we should be aiming for at this present time. I also still feel that Malouda should be looked at.
