    No i dont think we would be in this mess. But what you see is what you get and we'd finish 15th-12th every season. I have faith GH will turn things around and make us play a better brand of football to compete with the top. It's just going to take a while to get there. (obviously it isnt working at the moment.... but there's obvious issues which need to be fixed before it can work) But i'd rather we try play football in a better way and lose a few game for that reason instead of losing games for the reason of playing hoofball with no plan B.

    No thanks, MON was part of the problem, not the solution. If he'd agree to just see us through this season and make sure we dont get relegated, then fine. But i for one do not want a long term relationship between AVFC and MON. It's partly his fault were in this mess (along with many other factors)

    I have always said to give GH time and a window, as I believed he had a way of playing and for whatever reasons it weren't working... I thought that he understood football in depth and knew how to prepare a team tactically before a game... Today has totally changed my opinion, his inability to change the game was as frustrating as MON. The way we set out today was completely wrong and it was obvious after 20min. I was absolutely gobsmacked gabby was still playing on the left after half time and alby hadn't come on. Absolutely terrible. That's it for me, get him out.

    With their set of strikers, and their current league position. There is no chance of them coming to 17th in the league and playing for a draw. Think people are under-estimating how good Sunderland can be.

    When I feel confident about Villa, we usually lose. When i don't feel confident, we usually get a result. Today im actually feeling confident, so we will lose... so knowing that we will lose, does that mean i'm confident that we will lose so in turn we will win? Or not?

    I've said it before and i will say it again. No way should he sacked if we lose tonight. Sunderland are a good team. We have no divine right to beat them no matter who's in charge. Tonight is about the performance, if the team plays in the same way we did at Chelsea and still lose... then he's very safe. If we go back to looking like a shambles then I wouldn't argue if he did get sacked.

    I think the Arse will beat you by a good 3 goals tonight. Mancini will stick to his negative tactics and Arsenal will break through.... imo... might put a bet on actually...

    Did he not just say the "next two games would be very, very decisive" or something along those lines? I think he just meant the next two games are just massive games, which they are... Also said there would be a lot of departures too...

    Well if it's for my team (which would be Villa). I'd definitely pick Ronaldo. I'm not sure Messi can adapt to the Premier League the way Ronaldo did.

    For me, Sunderland game isnt about the result. It's about the performance. If the players go back to looking like they couldnt give a shit... then we're in big trouble. But if we get that feeling of togetherness which was there at the Chelsea match then we'll be fine.

    just updated my Desire with the latest Leedroid Rom.. (2.3b i think)... really really smooth and fast. Feels like a brand new phone. Any particular apps anyone is liking at the minute? Also - does anyone know of a decent remote desktop app?
