    I thought Bannan was great in the middle tonight although faded a little towards the end. Carrithers was great in the second half and the centre backs were good. Gardner was really poor. Webb and Drennan don't look too special!. Overall unlucky tonight.

    I think Fabio Capello would be our best option. I know people will not want him because of the world cup but he's a great club manager and knows our team better than most managers having watched so many of our matches. He also has great knowledge of other leagues. I would also love to see MON become England manager and think it could be brilliant for both parties!.

    Alves looks absolutely superb. 34 goals in 31 matches this season for a team that finished 5th is outstanding. You should see his Free kicks as well, some of the best ive ever seen. if you look at this on youtube youl see what i mean (2006 - 2007 sc Heerenveen - Feyenoord) 2 belting 35 yarders. Would be over the moon if we signed him and with an asking price of 20million euros he could actually be a better than an english option.

    I think we should go for Geremi as it says in paper he could be available for about 1 mil. He would be an excellent squad player for that money as he can play rm, cm, or rb. We need at least one more right winger for the 4-4-2 formation and we need competition for mcann and Bardsley. 1 player, 3 positions covered.

    Would love us to get Diop as he is a much better defensive midfielder than mcann with better passing, power, strength and height. He is also available at 4.5mil.
