I find it fascinating that despite all the negativity and sniping that goes on around here, every time a poll like this goes up there is overwhelming support for MON. I think there seems to be a very vocal minority. Yes sometimes he says and does things that annoy the hell out of me. But he is the best manager we've had at villa for years. And it's not jut MON you lose, I believe John Robertson is one of the best coaches about. Especially of attack minded players.

Can't wait to watch it! but i don't think that 1 amazing episode makes a whole tv series. otherwise there were some episodes in Battlestar Galactica that blows your mind! From a philosophical viewpoint, surely no other series has made me think as much as Battlestar Galactica? In terms of single episodes, Lost can produce some brilliant ones. The one with Des unstuck in time was great. As was the season 3 finale. But X-files also produced some fantastic stand alone episodes, usually ones that were completely unrelated to the main story.

General, Do sports journalists in America just completely make stuff up as the British sports press do.(I'm thinking of a lot of the 'facts' on the Barry saga) Because I'd imagine it could get quite litigious if they did.

Hi General, Can i just say that you can please pass on thanks to MON for stating so early tat he's not interested in the England job. Save us fans weeks of fretting and specualtion. You can also pass on that i for one, and i'm sure there are many others here, that are very happy he's staying. With our current young players, things are looking bright indeed. PS: Would you care to join a petition to make Steve McClaren the new Birmingham City manager?

General, There has been some debate on ths board about signing players to boost season ticket sales. I just wondered if you knew if match tickets were the clubs main source of revenue, or if it was say merchandising, or media revenue, or something else? Jon

I'm sure I read a quote from MON somewhere this week, saying something along the lines of, that Liverpool were having a laugh at 12m. And he'd never pay that for Bellamey.
