  1. the same bloke we all lambasted MON for playing because CC was shit. The same bloke which is why I dnt have a season ticket because of being utter wank Don't know why, but he is the same bloke that is the only difference from a tidy solid defence last season. And the shambles this.
  2. He didn't coach the defence, he just scared the shit out of the players. I don't know what it was, but some of the same defenders looked completely different players last year.
  3. Can we get MON back?, but only to coach the defence.
  4. I agree Pires has played all right. I'm just fed up of seeing good balls going into the box and no **** striker there to do anything with it. Its been the same thing all season tbf.
  5. Heard rumours that Tom Hardy would be in this, and I think he could be really good as Strange.
  6. MOTD didn't even show the Nani elbow, let alone mention the other should have been reds. What a **** crock a shit.
  7. And perhaps, according to Sky so should Vidic And Hernandez for a second yellow..
  8. I would be completely unsurprised if it came out that Man U had been bribing refs for years, Juventus style.
  9. so shit he was in PL team of the year. Give him a break - lacking a bit of form!! Isn't lacking a bit of form, a polite way of saying that his been playing shit recently.
  10. What did he do? I'd turned off. Continued his arguments from the game. Refused to shake Johnsons hand and had to be dragged away by Ashley Young of all people. I can see where the contretemps came from now, it's not the way a captain should behave. A shame because he played quite well, for him.[/quote He wants to shut up and calm down. I thought he was lucky not to see a red in that match.
  11. McDonald didn't seem overly keen on him. Houllier doesn't look to rate him at all. (sidwell prefered?) Feel he was pushed on the club, to help finalise the money in the Milner deal. He really isn't the sort of midfielder that we need right now.
  12. Why is PT such a proffessional? The only evidence I have to go on is what a balanced and proffesional reporter he on TV.
  13. Sorry guys, its just the the only person I hate more in football is Harry Redknapp. Maybe I'm being emotional, but I haven't felt so bad about someone being liked with this club since we signed John Fashanu.
  14. I don't know tbh but I am being told PT has resigned from sky The guy is an idiot and a prick. He has never given me any other impression than he hates Villa. I will be very angry if PT is let anywhere near this club.
  15. Loads but not necessarily names you'd want to hear. Zola, Vialli, Santini, Ramos, Tigana, Ranieiri, and Gullit. And I'm sure I missed a few too.
  16. Surely the board are going to have the good sense to interview Maradona. Not because you'd consider giving him the job. Imagine how entertaining that interview would be! They could film it and stick it on youtube.
  17. Can just add that whoever is appointed, if any wants to throw away their season ticket, please don't. I'll have it.
  18. Didn't Curbishley resign from West Ham over the boards transfer policy. (ie: selling player he wanted to keep) Sorry edit: Was indeed the case, and successfully sued them for constructive dismissal too.
  19. I personally think that KM has applied for the managers position, not expecting it. But hoping that it will set him instead to be placed as assistant manager.
  20. If you'd prefer Randy to rush into appointing a manager, without identifying and interviewing other candidates, then yes there's no excuse. Thankfully our chairman has a bit more about him and will make an informed decision once he knows what options are available and what they can bring to the table. Getting the right man in, regardless of their current employment status, will take time. Sorry but I don't go with this have to take time bullshit. It was 22 days from when MON left to the end of the transfer window. There are four board members, lets say for example they are the only people working on this. 22 days, circa 3 weeks. 5 working days. I work 9 hours a day at least. Say they only do 6. That's 90 hours. 4 people working (for example), then that's 360 man hours. I'd say that's more than plenty of time to make an informed decision.
  21. If we're going for a manager not currently in a job. There is no excuse for why they couldn't have been in to conduct transfer business. The only reason (that isn't conspiring that it was deliberate) is that there seems to be people in charge they have a lot of experience in business. But absolutely no-one in charge that knows football. Unless you count the life president, who has tons of experience getting new managers.
  22. You're right about not wanting a manager at another club, but a player at another club is fine. Also you'll find that most good managers will already be in work.
  23. And they are the backbone of a strong premiership side.
