Yep, we were in 3rd year of parachute payments so had much lower amount than those relegated after us who were in their first or second year of parachute payments.

Man City didn't beat FFP. They muddied the waters on 1 particular point and had their penalty reduced on final appeal over a technicality after a 2 year fight. They've followed all other FFP rules prior and since to make sure they don't end up in the same place again. (Of course, they are probably doing other shady accounting in extreme secrecy to make sure they don't fall foul of FFP again). I don't know anything about PSG to comment on them.

I like Targett. Think he's pretty ok for a lower level Premier league team. If he can improve slightly this season, he'll be good enough for us for now.

yes, it will expire at the end of next season. So Man City have this coming season to watch him and decide whether they want him back or not.

Is it weird that i want him to be good next season, but not soooo good that Man City will definitely activate the buyback next summer. Then in 2021/22 he can be bloody amazing for us!
