  1. What Risso said. Richard, have a peek at Stoke Newington for a cure. Might involve standing up tho...
  2. I would as it would be the right thing to do and hang the consequences to me.
  3. both definitely. He'd probably try to fist her and claim it was the nahd of God.
  4. I'm against it, although it would be really convenient in many cases. For me it's the principle: don't kill people. Also the principle of 'an eye for an eye' was, I believe, introduced to LIMIT reprisals at a time when people tended to go over the top without a second thought.
  5. I went for a balti, although it seems anyhthing can be called a balti nowadays as long as it has, er, balti in it. The name, that is.
  6. Paddy aren't you supposed to avoid scummy, filthty, infectious areas on account of your colourful health issues?
  7. Obviously time I think for the Council to step in and give them some money towards a bigger stadium. Oh, and the title of this thread has always bugged me. SHA? Surely it's sha...
  8. John Carew? He has such a large personality that MoN won't let his daughters ner him.
  9. 38 Physically; About 12 emotionally
  10. West Ham - cheating racist violent scumbags Newcastle and Spuds - more the media wankfest than the clubs to be honest.
  11. I think 0 is classed as a prime number. Maybe. Or maybe they were talking about numbers greater than two. It is, however Friday afternoon and the sun is a considerable distance over the yardarm. Might our efforts be better employed in reaching for the bell and ringing for a G&T?
  12. I took my O level a year early and got an A, although I only found out the thing about prime numbers last night on Radio 4. Incidentally, no one's ever disproved it, but some argue that it's also unproveable (cue my brain melting). Also, despite my O level, I am, alas, still laughably unemployable.
  13. All even numbers are the sum of two prime numbers.
  14. AC, thinking back and having had discussions over the years with all kinds of friends, O Levels/GCSEs were seen by college/uni admissions people as a test of intelligence, whereas A levels were seen as a test of how hard you work: So the key I guess is to work hard at your A levels, so try and avoid A levels that will discourage you from applying yourself. I guess it all comes back to doing what you want to do!
  15. English will be more useful to you and open up more options for the future; That said, really you should go with Mattster and Trekka: Most people spend too much time thinking about the future - pick a subject you enjoy NOW and the future will be dealt with when you get there.
  16. Glenmorangie? Or am I scraping the bottom of the barrel? Which is ironic, cos...
  17. There's only one John Terry! And not even his mum likes him.
  18. He may have scored, but that doesn't make him any less Welsh.
  19. I'm with Pelle. Maybe we ought to buddy up and be positive for each other.
  20. Paddy, Chris Coleman likes Blur, coffee and TV, so obvioulsy the song appealed to his sense of irony. I made that up.
  21. I'd leave the money. Taking it would be an easy, shitty thing to do. On a par with posting private pics of your ex on the web, or stealing sweets from children. Leaving the money there will help you grow as a human being.
  22. surely it would get infected? Well, every wound is colonised with bacteria, but usually the body's defence mechanism copes perfectly well in keeping it at bay; it's only when your immune system starts to lose the battle that 'colonised' becomes 'infected', so as long as you're relatively fit you should be fine. That said, you should always clean the wound with saline first. Just think of the cling film as an artificial scab - it just does the job better...
  23. If you cut yourself the wound will heal a LOT quicker if you wrap it in clingflim than if you leave it to dry out.
