  1. It's not a scary course really. It's strategic & you need to think your way around. I think we should look at something late May/early June if we're looking at doing a golf day. I'm also happy to arrange a social knock before for the purposes of practice.
  2. You'll be fine.....club down & stay straight
  3. If you can play to your handicap at Dartmouth it's worth 2/3 shots on many other courses
  4. Streams either side of the 3rd, across the 5th, 6th & 7th & along the 8th & in front of the 18th tees
  5. No it's not, it's long but it's fairly straightforward. S1 is 10, a longish par 4 to a blind green, another lovely hole where pars are like hens teeth
  6. Especially if the winds blowing  Usually Driver, 3 Wood, wedge.....but can be unpredictable if there's a breeze
  7. 675 yds.....par 5, out of bounds left all the way, roller-coaster fairway for 300yds & then a postage stamp green, magnificent. I told you it was a well ket secret
  8. I can get us sorted out no problem. My home course is Dartmouth, in the Sandwell Valley. You can have a look at www.Dartmouthgolfclub.co.uk We can play pretty much to suit, even if it's just a social knock before a golf day. It's a very nice course and you will get to play the longest opening hole in European golf. Dartmouth is one of the West Midlands best kept 'golfing' secrets so it's well worth a visit
  9. Hello Everyone, I know we've mooted this before but I'm still happy to organise & host a VT golf day. I can sort out competitive green fees etc to make this both very friendly & affordable. I reckon if we can get 8 definates (the more the merrier of course) then we can get the day off the ground this time
  10. Everybody Loves raymond......the greatest polemic on family life ever
  11. If that pesky sharks in that scary clam from Stingray deserves a mention
  12. Margaret Thatcher......every attribute of every evil, sinister, creepy horror villain you could wish for rolled up in one women.
  13. Car drivers who get right in my boot in 30mph zones result in me driving the next 2 miles at 15mpg
  14. I didn't say I wouldn't give him a chance. The question was posed "how did he play?". Against very modest opposition his performance was very poor. Will he improve? Who knows.....on his showing last night the Jury has to still be out. Thus far he's shown little or nothing to suggest blind faith in him is justified. Fingers crossed it changes for him.
  15. He stank the place out like a bucket of three day old fish
  16. A bit dull but we had at my school Steve & Violet Crapp......but we also had, as featured on an old Radio 1 funny name feature (Noel Edmonds show I think) Ophellia Bottom. Lovely looking girl who couldn't wait to be married
  17. DTheVillan on Xanga......i have neglected this tbh but I intend to up my game a bit now. No real focus, other than some Villa stuff, a few pics & so on
  18. Having had a season ticket for ever & a day I must admit I was expecting one of the earliest invites.....but alas no & in a childish way I have now pledged to send it back if I got one. Like most clubs Villa do little or nothing to reflect loyalty or longevity of ST ownership......except take us for granted
  19. Eastern mythical bullshit.....if it does I'll shout it at myself
  20. Not wishing any great harm on people I like to drive by minor traffic prangs and shout out the window "i hope that **** hurts".......always cheers me up if i've been held up in the traffic mess shit drivers leave in their trail

    Amsterdam

Went there a few years back to watch the Irish in that amazing 2-2 World Cup Qualifier.....got shot at for refusing to literally buy some drugged girl off some very grissly east europeans, drank more beer than I care to remember, saw some grotesque live sex shows including watching a 'mate' scragg some podgy african prossie, visited some very dodgy bar/cafes, took a taxi ride to the stadium driven by a psycho who should of been on suicide watch, and got nicked by the police who claimed I'd took a shit in the gutter (which I hadn't) & we missed our plane home, fortunately KLM took pity on us & put us on another flight. On the upside we did stay in The Hilton which was nice

    Fox Cull?

I've been feeding 4 foxes in my garden for years.....they're still very wary & wild & though they will come up close there's no way they'd put themselves at risk of coming into direct contact with me let alone sneak in the house for a rummage. Leave them alone, it's not their fault we've overtaken their natural habitat & they now have to deal with our filtyh dirty ways let alone cars. There is more to this story than is immediately obvious.....
  23. You hope for the best but he looked like a man playing on one leg last night when he came on. In the warm up he buckled on the knee and stayed down a long time before stretching out the leg very tentatively. You wonder what the first crunching block tackle will do to him
