    5 years ago I went from a 25k job in Probation to a 5k student Nurse bursary. My kids (4) were all teenagers (our house was hormone city). My wife was a crap paid class teacher. Now, I am doing an occupation I first dreamt about doing 10 years ago (still don't earn as much as I used to though). The kids are all grown (house full of adults who love each other is worth all the money in the world, nearly). My wife is a well paid Deputy Head. The only down side is this elongated wait for a U.S. immigrant visa, but when that finally arrives we will be sorted.

    I had a mate who always did high end SBDs. He used to share them on a crowded tube in rush hour, used to keep a dead straight face. The fact that he was small made the smell even more disgusting for some reason.

    It's still England for me. The best sport in the world being played by the team representing my country, whether they are shit or not or whether I think it should be full of Villa players or not. There is no way I want anyone to beat us. Supporting Villa is and has been like supporting England, massive club/country, done the big one once in the nearish history (my lifetime anyway), most competetive games are potential banana skins, I always moan during matches and I am ecstatic when we score. It's in my blood I'm afraid, can't help it.

    Yes I read this. Aaron Ralston; a unique blend of complete dickhead and hero. He is medically trained as a mountain rescuer so he knew what was happening to his body, highly interesting stuff. The raven bit was spooky.
