It is also Alan Smith who grew up supporting Aston Villa, having been born just eight miles from Birmingham. A quick google confirms what I thought I knew. As I said, he tries a bit too hard to compensate during his commentary.

If you bother to read my first post about him you will see I've put - "However, I have absolute faith that Emery will either make him come good or ship him out and he should get our support as long as he's at the club." He will get my support. But I don't rate him at the moment, and I'm hardly bitching. I'm interested to know what other people see in him.

Just watched this documentary on the back of watching Mr Bates vs The Post Office. Absolutely scandalous, amazing it's taken the tv programme to get the government talking about it. Truly horrifying what people with power can do to a minority.

I'll reserve judgement-most attacking players manage to carve themselves out an opening and miss the target every game and don't get lauded for it. "Great effort, gonna be a great player". We will see.

This guy has shown next to nothing yet to suggest we should sign him permanently-runs into blind alley after blind alley and his shooting is little better than that of Tonev. People are talking about how great his strike against Boro was that actually missed the target. I've no idea whether this is genuine or not but apparently the Blues programme listed the Bristol City squad rather than the Stoke one last week! I've seen it posted a few times on FB but not mentioned here so thought everyone would appreciate another chance to see how imbecilic this club is....

The rule is a joke-how was he supposed to get out of the way of that from a yard away? They may as well say if it hits the hand/arm in the box in it's a penalty whether intentional or not. At least everyone would know where they stand. -
