    There is no way we could rest all 3 of those players. We may have to rotate at some point so only 2 out of 3 play, but our midfield would look pretty weak with all 3 out.

    problem with resting him is that it breaks his 206 odd game streak. I don't think that would enter in to O'Neills thinking. If he thought Guzan would be better for this game, he would play him. That said, I still expect Friedel to play, and Guzan to be putting the shit up Blackburn in all the cup games very soon.

    These four, you can put them in any order you like to be honest. They've all been outstanding and all deserve it. Collins and Cuellar have both been excellent as well, I think Petrov brings a lot to the team and although he's only just got in Downing looks great. We also have a fantastic goalkeeper. Competition will be fierce for this award this season if we keep up our form.

    Here Some nice quotes in there. Typical O'Neill, keeping everyones feet on the ground and talking about the next game. Good to see our players earning some praise and I enjoyed seeing in the media what we've all been saying about Lescott replacing Dunne.

    This certainly won't be an easy game and we can't afford to let up at all. I wonder if Downing is fit enough yet to cope with another game so soon? I would think asking him to play every game in December would be a big ask anyway.

    He had none. He spoke very highly of Villa!!! The old word removed was surprisingly magnanimous in defeat. He can still suck the added time out my unwiped ass. In fairness Fergie usually has good things to say about us, even if it's been a long time since he had to do if after a defeat!!

    I feel it would be more likely the other way aI've lost count of the times we've been leading and I've thought "This is the time!" only for them to score late on. Alpay OG in the 94th minute, that FA cup game, last season. If we were 6 0 up at half time, I'd struggle to be confident of victory!

    This should be in live coverage I think? But if it isn't on TV in the states I'm sure it will be easy to find a live stream on the internet. Annoyingly for me it's on French TV, but every bar in the city will be showing the Marseille game that's on at the same time

    I'd be tempted to go 442 with Carew. With the Utd defence being pasted together from midfielders, if he can have a good game (and it's Man Utd, so he should be up for it) then he could really tear them apart like no one else in our team can. It's a gamble, but I think it could be one worth taking. Agree that the mentality for the game has to be right and MON will have to get some belief into the players.
