    This Amazon coverage. * * * * ME! Post game. Bored to death of them talking about city injuries, they went through the performance of EVERY city player, even they looked a bit awkward. In-game Townsend tried but I almost forgot we were playing for chunks of the game. They edged the game.If we’d have drawn, it would not have felt undeserved. Should we expect more of this with the likes of Amazon/Dazn in the mix for coverage. Doubt they’re that incentivised to give clubs a balanced level of coverage.

    Disagree personally. Very different players. Luiz has been fantastic at times this season IMO.

    Is the wind having a big effect this game? We’re struggling with the same directness and it’s suddenly paying off for Palace. definitely one to hang onto this. Will be a good test to see how far (if) we’ve improved since earlier in the season.

    Think we’re sitting back more now. Presumably hoping to hit them on counters - so might need to keep Ollie on for that now tactically. might be a game for Bidarce on for Young or Bailey.

    I don’t think it’s as much about us dropping off this half, palace have just woken up. They were dreadful first half and were never going to be as bad.

    100% agree with those suggesting this is an Ings game rather than Watkins. He’d have got 3/4 more shots off so far.

    Only minor downside for me in an otherwise very positive half is Bailey tends to slow our counters down too much. I suspect it’ll take a good while for him to get fully into the system - has missed a chunk of tactical training etc. loving the directness of our passing along the floor though

    Yep Watkins isn’t up to it atm. When Luiz is back I’d be bringing him in and pushing McGinn right behind Ings.

    Absolutely gutted. I haven’t wanted it to work out for a villa manager more than him. 12 months ago the idea of a villa manager leading a villa captain & star player under the owners/CEO we have was tantalising. hope he gets a good reception on his return. It’ll take me a good while to feel any excitement about a replacement personally. I
