As a fan, from fan's point of view - AM is no go, relegated twice, shit tactics and players etc. - NO THANK YOU. As a manager (not in football), from the CEO/manager's point of view - I would like to know his views, opinions on topics written above + discuss part of strategies which could be revealed, as nothing is black or white in any business - I WOULD INTERVIEW HIM. I would also interview any other candidates on my shortlist who are allowed to or free. Verdict: If it is AM, as a fan, I will give him transfer window and 10 matches in all competitions to convince me. If it is someone else, as a fan, I will give him whole season to convince me (same as with GH).

We have small and weak players in defense, everything what has the opposition to do is to play high balls. It is just enough to win against us now. Bolton did it, so Wolves are trying the same. And it is working.

He reminds me of Bent in that aspect. People question Bent's ability on the ball at international level but it's the positions he gets himself into that make him score so many goals and would be the same at any level. I see the same think with Delfouneso that is missing from Gabby's game. It would be interesting how many goals Bent and Delfouneso would score between them if we went 4-4-2 with two decent wingers. Exactly this is my point of view.

Everyone who was claiming that Makoun is player like NRC were completely out of football knowledge. His strengths are not as required for playing DMC. His strengths were/are passing, creativity and vision. In France, his stamina was enough to be box-to-box there, but just not enough for PL yet. You will see that he will be our either best creative or box-to-box player (he needs to gain more fitness to accomodate PL). My prediction is the first option - he will be our best creative player in MC position.

the centre axis of NRC (DMC) - Makoun (MC) - Ireland (AMC) all at their best would be very good imho. Ideally Barry (DMC) - Makoun (MC) - Milner (AMC) with A.Young and Downing on wings and Bent in front - wet football dreams

He needs a defensive monster beside him and this would make him our best creative player by far. I am still claiming, he is not DMC, he is creative MC, very good creative MC (like Arteta or Modric). Someone like Viera or Makelele (in their younger ages) would be perfect combo with Makoun (in terms of chemistry).

I would like to see Bent and Fonz combo upfront against Fulham too. Fonz to play little bit deeper, Bent as a striker. Two very intelligent attackers, it might work imho.
